Way back in 1975, the Sail Loft lit the fire for Steve Silverstein, who went on to open nearly 40 restaurants. Located in the quintessential seaside village of Padanaram, it was the neighborhood place where you could get a good (strong) drink, chef prepared comfort food and relax in a convivial atmosphere with familiar faces. The Sail Loft was everyone’s favorite place; it was a hangout where some came for food and others for drink.

When the Sail Loft became available in 2021, Steve jumped on the opportunity to take the wheel. Steve and his wife Judy transformed the Sail Loft into an elevated neighborhood restaurant with a distinct updated boatyard feel. The spot is nautical with a chef-driven yet approachable menu, a deep selection of spirts and an intriguing wine list. As with all of Silverstein’s places, while the food, drink and design are always top-notch, it is the warm hospitality that keeps ‘em coming back.

                    it's simply a very restaurant that has a lovely vibe and is the sort of place you want to go back to. It's not always the best food I've ever had - but it's pretty damned good. And it's not cheap by any means - but it's not overly expensive either. Can't go wrong there. I've been there dozens of times and never had a bad meal or a bad time

                    This was the second time dining at Sail Loft . Food service and atmosphere outstanding. We had the Thai shrimp dish for an app was great included Wontons love this app. Both the fish and chips were awesome batter was as described also had the baked cod equally delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great meal.

                    Here’s a more engaging and polished version of your review: First time at this place, and WOW—what an experience! My family and I loved everything from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor, and perfectly prepared. The drinks?                     If you have never been to the Sail Loft, you are in for a treat! It has a wonderful neighborhood, pub feel. (think Cheers!) The service was friendly and perfectly paced. The food was abundant and delicious! It was a rainy damp night and it was toasty warm in the venue. We could not have asked for a better experience!
