A great location in the quiet outskirts of La Cañada, Sakana Sushi Restaurant is the perfect spot to dine after a long day of work in Downtown LA, or the perfect place to enjoy amazing sake and sushi with the company of family and friends. Enjoy the succulent taste of the great Big Eye Tuna with one of our variations of tuna sashimi, or tuna rolls. Feast with our grilled Scottish salmon with vegetables and shrimp tempura. We made a reservation on Open Table for 7:30 and when we get there they say they do not use this service. They they did not do anything even after showing them the reservation and said it was an hour wait. What a joke. Remove yourself from this service if you are not using it and make people drive 35 minutes away for nothing.

We had made reservations thru Open Table for 6:30p. When we arrived on time, there was a long line of people waiting, mostly with reservations. They didn’t honor Open Table reservations last night.

It’s a nice pleasant place. We ended up closing the restaurant down. When they finally started putting up all the chairs, the only and not really negative, but the sizes of fish on the rolls were really small and the tuna roll had a small portion of tuna as compared to other sushi places I have been to. Other than that it was a very enjoyable experience.
