Salvatore’s of Elmont: A True Italian Gem What an incredible experience! Salvatore’s of Elmont is an absolute paradise for Italian food lovers. From start to finish, every dish exceeded my expectations. I began with the Clams Casino and grilled octopus—both were simply divine! The clams were perfectly cooked, with a rich flavor and just the right touch of crispness. The octopus, tender and slightly charred, was a masterpiece of balance between flavors and textures. For the main course, the veal marsala was an absolute dream. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the marsala sauce was perfectly balanced, with a depth of flavor that only top-notch cooking can deliver. The pizza was outstanding, with a thin, crispy crust and toppings so fresh they practically sang. And the garlic knots, which were complimentary, were soft, buttery, and bursting with garlic goodness—an absolute treat! Our dinner for 7 was delicious as always. They had the heaters going for the cold January night and we were all very comfortable- actually requested one of the heaters to be turned off. I had the pleasure of dining at Salvatore's of Elmont and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The pasta was out of this world – perfectly cooked with rich, flavorful sauces that had me savoring every bite. But the real star of the show was the lamb chops – tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Every dish was a masterpiece, and the service was just as exceptional. First time here on New Year’s Eve what an amazing new years eve set menu. We had lentil soup which was beyond amazing my group loves the decorations and all the new year extras they gave us - champagne and wine and new year’s hats. Our dinner filet of sole and chicken parm was beyond amazing served with roasted potatoes and veggies. Our cappuccinos were the best I have had and the zeppoles desserts to die for. Had been wanting to try Salvatore’s for awhile and decided this was the right time as we were headed for the NYE concert at UBS. It was more than anticipated in every way. Didn’t know about the outdoor seating(heated tents) or price fix menu before we got there but both turned out great. Everyone was super friendly and the food was so delicious and plentiful that we took much of it home and left very full.
