San Laurel is one of the flagship restaurants in Chef José Andrés’ collection at Conrad Los Angeles. Here, he effortlessly combines his signature forward-thinking approach to Spanish cuisine with the gorgeous produce found at Southern California’s year-round farmers’ markets. San Laurel is open daily for breakfast and dinner service.

The restaurant’s interior combines organic, earthy tones and natural wood finishes with richer hues to complement what’s on the plate: the flavors of Spain as seen through a California lens.

We visited the San Laurel for the Thanksgiving experience. We were so pleased they could accommodate our 24 hour notice. Our table was outside on the 10th floor with a gorgeous view of the city lights and neighboring Disney Concert Hall. They provided blankets and a heat lamp to add to the cozy ambiance! The service was impeccable and food and wine pairings were spot on. Each course was a delight to our taste buds. Would highly recommend this restaurant .

¡Claro! Aquí tienes la traducción: The place is well-located and nice, but the menu is limited, not exceptional, and overpriced. We tried the ribeye, which was very average, some prawns, Iberian ham, and the mac & cheese. I think the best things were the bread and the Iberian ham. I wouldn’t go back to eat there.

Food was great...biggest issues were with the wine service. First we ordered a sparkling wine and was served in a general wine glass that didn't keep the effervescence within the glass. 2nd the serving was not correct after presenting the wine and pouring the sample to the guest who ordered then filled that same glass instead of pouring rest of table starting with the ladies then men and then returning to the host to top up. 2nd should have asked if party was going to one of the performances across the street...at end of the meal server disappeared and it was hard to get check and settle..with a location across from multiple performance venues that info is important to pace meal and get guests out in good order

At breakfast I had the best congee I ever had in the United States at San Laurel. The ingredients were spectacular. Home made dried pork hash was made from jamon iberico and their XO sauce was also homemade by the chef. I shall order congee for breakfast every time I stay at Conrad Downtown LA.

There is nothing to fault in this dining experience. Each element serves to enhance the other. We decided that it makes no difference what we order. Everything on the menu is delicious, unique, and surprising. Staff is wonderful. And the location is perfect for the Disney, the Broad, and the Music Center. An absolute winner.

It was fantastic. We had a reservation for 4 couples and we all arrived earlier than our reservation. They accommodated us and sat us as soon as we got there. The waiter accommodated everyone’s individual needs, clearly explained the menu items, and checked on us throughout the evening to ensure we had everything. The food was delicious and came out to our table as soon as it was ready. The cocktails were great. Presentation, ambience, and service were excellent. Only my partner and I had visited San Laurel before. For everyone else, it was their first time, and they were absolutely impressed!
