Located oceanfront on the first floor at the Autograph Buoy Haus Resort, St. Thomas, adjacent to the Westin at Frenchmans Reef. SandBar is the sister eatery to upscale Isla Blue Restaurant located upstairs and requires separate reservations.

    The menu items lack proper description. The sea bass ($68)only stated it was prepared with citrus flavors. It came out more like branzino with the full head and teeth and deep fried in a batter. I sent it back and ordered another piece of fish which was delicious but took a long time. The oysters which were a special were the size of dimes and lacked any and all flavor. The Sandbar located below was delicious and the Salt Shack also on property was a better experience too.

    Our experience at the Sandbar was absolutely amazing. The food and atmosphere were incredible and the views right on the water were breathtaking. We mentioned it was our honeymoon and received complementary drinks from our fantastic wait staff. We have felt so special so far on our trip and at this dinner. Hope to go again while we are here!

    Paella excellent. Portions generous. Service good. My only complaint is that it is advertised as coming with a bottle of Spanish wine but we got a bottle of Argentine rose. Not a bad wine but not quite what was listed

    We dined here on our first night on St Thomas and it was incredible! Our waiter, Elgin, was one of the best waiters we have ever had. The food, the service, the ambiance…. It was all top notch!

    I had a fabulous dinner tonight with my boyfriend. We also had a fabulous server named Crystal who made our experience amazing. Her recommendations for the specialty cocktail and food were on point. This place and service did not disappoint!

    This was an absolutely AMAZING experience. The service was spectacular, the drinks were out of this world. The environment and decor is absolutely perfect. The food was also very good, I don’t recommend the sliders tho.

    the restaurant is beautiful, great location. staff tried their best but with a kitchen completely ill equipped and chefs overwhelmed, the result was very poor quality of food, delays, frustrations. Again, staff did their best in the situation but the quality in the food preparation is not there.

    Our server was very nice and trying her best, but they were clearly understaffed. The lighting is terrible. It feels like you’re in a cafeteria and every time the kitchen door would open music would be blaring. Top it off with the shirtless guy sitting at the bar drunk. Not a very romantic night out. We ended up just having a drink and an appetizer and then found another place to go.
