Sandy Point Beach House is a casual fine dining restaurant featuring gourmet burgers and a market driven rotating feature menu. These features will showcase Chefs ingredient focused fusion cuisine that the lake shore knows and loves. Located minutes from Lake Michigan, near Kirk Park and West Michigan bike trails, the beach house atmosphere is best described as modern Chicago loft space meets lake-shore cottage. I like Sandy Pointe it’s one of my favorites but my girlfriend’s lasagna was dry little sauce, my stroganoff was super dry no sauce and maybe one morsel of short rib. They had no fresh Parmesan and they completely forgot my wedge salad. Just not up to par very average.

Beautiful restaurant! It was a busy night when we were there. They had already sold out of a few entrees by 6PM, but there was still plenty to choose from. Service was great. Food was delicious. We sent back one burger, but management immediately addressed it. The next burger was perfect. As the place filled up, it got a little loud but expected for a Saturday night. Overall, it was a good experience. We will definitely return.

We are regulars here but it seems the food is hasn’t been consistent. Ordered a large wedge salad. Not a wedge, not a lot of lettuce and there were olives on it ?!?! Not worth $15 LOVE THE MUSIC & want to support them during Winter months . Just don’t think we will

We had a 7 pm reservation but weren’t seated until 7:25. It was New Year’s eve and they clearly weren’t prepared for the crowd. Our waitstaff and the hostess was very nice. My husband didn’t receive the right meal. He ordered shortrib stroganoff and received the short rib meal. He did not mention it to the waiter because the place was packed and we did not want to wait another 30 minutes for his meal when I would be done. We have been here before at less busy times and did not have issues. If we come back it will be at an off time.

Food and service was great. We had a party of 8, and everyone was cold. All the women were wearing coats over our shoulders.

This is consistently a really great restaurant. I have never had anything even close to a bad experience at Sandy Point. The food is amazing and the service is always top notch.

Great experience. Attentive waitress and table by the fireplace. Attractive holiday decorations and live music on a Thursday night which was unexpected and very enjoyable. Food was tasty. Our table ordered chili, Caesar salad with salmon, beef stroganoff and mussels. All were very good but not exceptional. No complaints.
