Sangiovese Ristorante was founded in 1994 bringing authentic Italian to Indianapolis' North Side. Chris Evans, Owner/Operator of Sangiovese, has maintained dedication to his loyal clientele by providing the highest quality ingredients and impeccable service. Sangiovese works toward letting guests sit back and enjoy a great bowl of pasta with a nice glass of Vino!

We have never had a meal at Sangiovese we did not enjoy. I had their muscle appetizer dish yesterday and it was the best I have ever had, and I am from the east coast where muscles are served fresh all the time.

Went as a recommendation since we were flying in for the weekend. Everything was amazing! The meatballs, the bread, all of our entrees, plus the cannoli. We will be back when we come in town again! 10/10, and ask for Oliver!

This was the worst “fine” dining experience that we have had in Indianapolis. Every pasta dish had pasta that was mushy and well past al dente. The seafood dishes contained rancid “dead fish” odors and the ossobuco had a sharp object embedded in the food. And, the server brought the wrong dish to one member of our party. We will never return to a dining spot that was suburb “once upon a time.”

Service was outstanding. Tortellini was delicious. The fried ravioli was best we’ve had. Recommendations from server were spot on. Will definitely visit again.
