Sartoria is the gastronomic proposal of Italian chef Marco Carboni (former chef at Osteria Francescana by Massimo Bottura), where he expresses the philosophy of his italian roots, based on the product, the season and a “hand-made” approach.

The menu is focused on seasonality, and products are produced in a sustainable way by small-scale producers. At Sartoria, pasta is produced artisanally every day, respecting italian tradition and simultaneously embracing mexican produce.

The warm ambiance of a traditional italian trattoria comes together with our vision of a contemporary osteria that is both dynamic and cosmopolite.

    My experience at Sartoria was disappointing due to poor service and disregard for dietary needs. As a vegan, I noted my preferences when reserving, but the staff seemed unprepared. After confirming with the chef, I was assured they could accommodate a vegan pasta, yet the dish I received was covered in cheese—a serious oversight for allergies. When I asked for an alternative, I was offered plain tomatoes without burrata or croutons. With basic ingredients like olive oil, mushrooms, and garlic available, it was baffling they couldn’t create a simple vegan dish. Meanwhile, my friends received small but tasty portions, while I was left without food. The manager was rude and dismissive throughout, adding to the frustration. Our waiter forgot my friend’s wine order and left after taking our order. The new waiter apologized but didn’t fix the situation, and we had to ask three times for the wine. Sartoria failed to deliver adequate service or creativity, making it a frustrating and disappointing experience.

    Muy costoso para comida muy promedio, tienen poco personal así que conseguir que un mesero te haga caso es difícil. Los cocteles saben a puro azúcar.

    As usual, great experience. Everything we ordered was delicious and presentation is ideal. The staff also gave great recommendations into how to combine the gluten free pasta for the person who couldn’t eat gluten.

    Todo nos encantó, felicitaciones al chef y a todo el staff. Lo único malo es que hay solo 1 baño para todo el restaurante.

    Celebramos nuestro aniversario y el restaurante cumplió con las expectativas. Las entradas nos gustaron más que los platillos principales, los cuales no decepcionaron. Atento el servicio con prosecco incluido por el aniversario. El lugar es moderno y las mesas pequeñas, pero tienen una solucion para ello. Con mayor cantidad de comensales, se vuelve más ruidoso, sin llegar a ser desagradable. Placentero y repetible.
