Scala Osteria offers traditional Southern Italian, seafood-centered recipes meant to be shared with family and friends in our warm and vibrant dining room. Our menu is influenced by the traditional Italian osteria where creating simple yet delicious food is paramount, and our atmosphere is always inviting and full of life. From our beautiful oyster bar to our house-made pastas and Neapolitan style pizzas, we have something for everyone. We offer varying experiences, from folks grabbing a quick bite on their lunch hour, to couples stopping in to delight in our Oyster Bar, to parties spending hours enjoying delicious Southern Italian fare with perfectly paired wines. Sister restaurant to valley favorite, Bistro Don Giovanni, Scala Osteria is located on vibrant First Street in the heart of Downtown Napa. We are open daily for lunch, dinner from 11:30am to 10pm and late night service from 10-11pm.

    Another wonderful dinner at Scala's. We had the table for 6 in the front corner. Started with salads, a round of Oysters and then each main was fantastic against a couple bottle of Brunellos.

    Thank you to our server Jose for the great experience, we came to Scala for my mother in laws birthday (table of 4) and we enjoyed everything from beginning to end, customer service, drinks, Appetizers, entrees and our desserts were all great, which I feel is hard to find at other restaurants sometimes, I can’t wait to be back again when I’m in town!

    Every bite and sip we had was outstanding. Great variety of options and great ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The donuts were our favorite dish of the night so make sure you save room for dessert.

    Scala never fails to impress and it does so without pretense. The staff are professional, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive or fussy. Every dish takes you to the Mediterranean. Fresh, simple, and creative dishes. This visit I loved the Prosciutto de Parma starter served with whipped ricotta and grill toasted bread. The main was a crisp, lightly dressed salad served with chunked tuna. Both dishes were just fabulous. Their by the glass wines are well curated for the menu as well.

    The Food and drinks were delicious! Cant wait to return on my next trip to Nappa. Special shout out to Allen and Luis for the great service!
