Schnitzel Platz in Glendale Heights is perhaps one of the most lively and entertaining eateries throughout the area and is known for hosting many events and is special enough to help ring in the holidays. In fact, Schnitzel Platz will often feature a special menu that has items only available throughout select times of the year like Oktoberfest. There are, of course, plenty of consistent favorites you will find too.

Some consistent menu items include the Kaiser in the neighborhood, whole suckling pig, Deutsche Haus platte, schweine braten and the sauerbraten. Make sure you also try the many schnitzels, of course, like the pork schnitzel, weiner schnitzel or the jager schnitzel. Schnitzel Platz also offers a kid’s menu that makes this restaurant a family-friendly place to go. and don't forget to come in and enjoy some authentic German polka music on weekends and our great selections of German bier imported from Germany!

Always a great experience at the Schnitzel Platz! Fabulous service and the food was spectacular. The live German music and overall great atmosphere was the perfect compliment.

Excellent German food in an engaging atmosphere, this time with live accordion! Their Jäger Schnitzel never disappoints and all of our sides were excellent, especially the spatzle, sauerkraut, & rotkohl.

Service and the food for the most part was great. The cold plate and choice of sides are amazing. There were three of us and we each order different entrees. Two were excellent (half a roasted chicken and the jager schnitzel), the Schweine Braten was overcooked. Lucas is a wonderful server and servings are ample as we each brought some home.

Food was great, singer was there tonight too, so we got so fun polka music. Dinner was yummy, not rushed at all, always a good time
