Seasons at Stirk House Hotel features menus using fresh, seasonal ingredients produced by the finest artisan suppliers in the area or foraged from our own 22 acres of grounds. Our food is earthy, honest and completely representative of the stunning landscape we work within, the fantastic local suppliers we use and our head chef’s dedication to creating spectacular food. If you were to take a bite out of Lancashire, this is how it would taste.

Book our famous Sunday Lunch - offered every Sunday for lunch between 12.30pm - 2.30pm. Using the highest quality local meats and vegetables, this Sunday roast will leave you feeling satisfied.

Afternoon tea is served between 3pm - 6pm, any bookings made before this time will be served the lunch time menu. If you would like Afternoon Tea prior to 3pm please contact the hotel on 01200 445581 and we will be able to advise if it is possible to do Afternoon Tea at your requested time.

A wonderful combination of seasonal savoury items and quaint finger sandwiches, complete with freshly made cakes and homemade scones with jam and clotted cream. Enjoy with freshly brewed loose leaf tea or cafetiere of coffee, whichever you desire. Dietary requirements catered for, please inform us of any for your party upon booking. Please contact us on 01200445581 (opt 1) for bookings of more than 6 people, tables over 8 require a £5 deposit per person at the time of booking, this is refundable if cancelled 5 days prior to your reservation, your deposits are refundable. Less than 5 days prior to arrival, all deposits will be non-refundable.

Good Morning

We would like to wish you a very Good Morning and a warm welcome to Breakfast at Stirk House. Breakfast begins with your choice of tea or freshly ground coffee served at your table. Tea – Select from English Breakfast, Earl Grey, lemon, peppermint, green, decaffeinated or a fruit tea (apple and lemon tisane). Fruit Juices – Freshly squeezed apple or orange juice. Please help yourself to juices, cereals, toast & pastries. Our staff will come and take your cooked breakfast order shortly. Items available from the Kitchen: Our cooked breakfasts are freshly prepared and cooked to order using the highest quality local ingredients. We hope you enjoy your breakfast and have a wonderful day ahead

          Stirk House Hotel is in a beautiful area and has lovely gardens and walks, for us it's only 5 mins away so is local, we been for meals with family and for our anniversary's, the food is always extremely good in a very enjoyable atmosphere, the service is attentive, polite and friendly, well worth a visit.

          Lovely place to visit with eager welcoming staff. Dining room was a lovely room with nice decor and a nice ambience which also had private booths as well as normal tables in the room. Dining staff was extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, freshly cooked and well presented. The prices are higher than many other places but worth it for a special celebration or occasion. Overall, an excellent place in a beautiful setting with pleasant staff, good food, great service and I would certainly go again and would recommend it to others.

          We visited seasons for our 2 year wedding anniversary has got married at stirk house. And has soon has we arrived we were made to feel welcome and special by all the waiting on staff and bar staff .The mid week deal was good value and the food was tasty and well presented. The restaurant is well lit and decorated and a very pleasant atmosphere. we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will be returning on an annual basis to celebrate.

          A lovely setting to dine in with beautiful decor, excellent and extremely attentive, prompt service. We ate delicious, high quality food with pricing that reflected this however pricing was not excessive. A thoroughly enjoyable Sunday lunch and we will definitely return, having not visited this venue for many years prior to today.

          Loved the relaxed , kind of romantic feel of the eating area. rosemary & garlic mushroom and halloumi skewers were absolutely amazing starter. Steak for main was cooked to perfection, food was nice and hot. Fast service and amazing hospitality. Highly recommend

          Two nights stay DB&B 6 Adults in group. Seasons is a great restaurant with lovely food, staff and ambience.. You are able to see the chefs cooking the food which always came hot. First stay at this hotel and we will be back.

          This was a lovely dining experience. The room is beautifully decorated and accessorised and all the staff we encountered were very friendly yet professional. We both chose the blades of beef and the meat was wonderfully tender with great vegetables and red wine jus. Staff regularly checked we were happy without being in the way and although they had a large party in the adjoining room we never felt neglected. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

          We had afternoon tea today and it was fabulous. The food was excellent, service was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. They were incredibly accommodating and made the whole experience extra special. Thank you.
