When Ross Magnaye and Shane Stafford started Serai, their vision was to create a restaurant that would fit perfectly in the heart of the Philippines. To replicate the spirit, vitality, passion and sense of fun, they knew Serai would become a home from home for our diners.

​At our restaurant, right in the heart of Melbourne, you can watch the chefs prepare and fresh food daily in our open kitchen at the chef’s omakase table or relax in the restaurant and bar with a glass of our hand picked, vin naturel selections or signature cocktails.

    Food was incredible, great value aswell. Had a very quiet, relax vibe to the place. Staff were amazing. Overall if you like filipino food then definitely worth your time.

    Have to return. We sat at the Chef's Table and was fantastic, informative, fun. Food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Great to discuss the dishes with amasing staff, paired with delicious wines - big thanks to Lex for his amasing expertise . So happy to recommend 5 Stars

    Had the banquet menu - certainly filled us both up! The rice with the pork scratching was amazing, actually everything we were served was delicious.
