Located in Coconut Grove, Sereia is a modern, seafood-forward restaurant inspired by the Iberian coast and two Michelin-starred Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa’s global travels, a cumulation of flavors from his rich culinary history paired with a lifetime of experience working in some of the best restaurants around the world. Sereia features cuisine with depth, featuring the finest ingredients supported by sophisticated techniques.

    Was a wonderful experience and the service was incredible. Begin our first time , the server took the time to explain what everything was. The food was delicious . What an amazing dinner.

    Felt like I was back in Portugal with the amazing flavors that every dish had. Service was solid and pricing was not excessive. Will be back.

    We were originally to be seated outside but we asked for indoor seating instead due to the weather. Our indoor table was in an exceptional location. The chairs were comfy and the ambience was that of understated elegance. Very happy we sat indoors. The waitstaff was extremely knowledgeable about each item on the menu. Very accomodating to dietary needs/allergies. If you like wine and want to have a choice of some exceptional Portuguese wines, there is no reason you could not find an outstanding wine on the list. As with all new restaurants we try, we opted for dessert at the end. Just like the entrees, the desserts had a modern elevated twist to the peaseant foods we were accustomed to growing up. Delightful surprise. We found a hidden gem.

    This is a must visit restaurant. The food is beyond amazing and the service is not only attentive but very friendly as well. It is also a beautiful setting right in the Grove. I could not recommend this restaurant enough.

    For the price point, I’d expect near perfection. Waiter was great, understood the menu and spoke to it perfectly. Starters were great (octopus and prawns), main dish was a bit too salty (cod fish). Catch of the day was fresh and perfectly prepared. Bread was great. Desserts were interesting, but not mind blowing. I’d go back, try the other items on the menu.
