Shirley’s Restaurant & Bar offers warm hospitality and the region's flavorful bounty. Menu favorites include playful twists on classic dishes, such as a tomato caprese made with buttermilk-fried green tomatoes and a grilled shrimp cocktail paired with a spicy, tomato-based sauce and homemade tortilla chips.

Executive Chef Mina Mahrous has thoughtfully crafted a menu that showcases refined American cuisine, offering an elevated dining experience. The light-filled and airy dining room of the Hotel Petersburg has been restored to its original grandeur, making it a welcoming gathering place for all.

Buzzing with energy, the ambiance of Shirley’s Bar combines sleek sophistication with a warm and inviting atmosphere, featuring rich burgundy walls and deep wood accents that create an intimate, refined setting. Our mixologists offer a rotating selection of refreshing cocktails, local craft beer, and wine. Sundays, we offer all-day bar bites perfect for pairing with a cold beer or cocktail.

                  Love the decor table placement and the large white napkins for your lap- food was good and flavorful. Drinks good, shareable good portions as not to spoil your meal and yummy deserts. Attentive staff and servers - will go again when in Petersburg

                  Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Melissa our server was very personable. Shrimp and sausage and salmon were excellent. Dining room is beautiful. Tables are well spaced. Although located in the Hotel Petersburg, Shirley's is definitely not your typical hotel restaurant. If there’s one complaint, it's that all the convenient parking, including on street, seems to be reserved for valet parking.

                  Sunday Jazz Brunch Very classy ambiance, fantastic jazz musician Buffet menu, everything was delicious, favorite was the bread pudding! Nice to see the renovation of the Hotel and talk with the staff about the history of the Shirley restaurant. Fun time!

                  The food and service was exemplary. We did a dinner special for the after Valentine’s Day celebration to avoid the packed day. The ambiance was great and food was excellent. And we discovered the hotel also has a nice and quaint speakeasy which the service was great as well. We would return again.
