Shkodé (Shhkoe-day), the Pottawatomi word for fire, honors the Gun Lake Casino's heritage through our attention to flavor and quality. Indulge your senses with our prime cut steaks and seafood or our fresh takes on American Cuisine. Our dinner menu highlights USDA Wagyu, Prime & Choice steaks and chops, along with freshwater fish, seafood, and farm-fresh poultry.

Seasonally inspired menus using locally sourced ingredients will highlight our chef’s culinary expertise. Artisan-crafted cocktails, a thoughtfully curated wine selection and whiskeys & bourbons from around the world round out your dining experience.

                                                                I’ve been here before a few times and had good experiences until my last two visits (one of those two I left upset by both lack of speedy service and poor food quality) For what you pay the food is not worth it (sadly). BUT desserts and drinks are great if you’re looking for a sweet treat and a good drink. Our server was very kind and did her best to be attentive to our needs but when your food comes lukewarm at best, and you are busy with other tables it’s hard to satisfy all guests. Entrees like the steak were very salty and one ribeye came to us a little cold (kitchen should start warming plates before they plate and leave in window for server). Mashed potatoes are bland so make sure to ask for salt and pepper to adjust it to your taste. Mushrooms were the best part as they were actually warm. Overall, get dessert and a good drink and then get out. I am hoping with the new addition of the hotel and resort Skōdé gets a refresher on what their priorities are as a somewhat fine dining restaurant.

                                                                Very good overall. The oysters were great. Our steaks were each cooked perfectly and the sauces were a nice addition, probably didn’t need them but glad we added them. Drinks were good as well

                                                                Steak was too salty for my dining partner and myself. Otherwise, it was great. Mashed potatoes were way overprocessed. Something closer to mashed potatoes would have been better.

                                                                Very relaxing meal with great service. We overheard another table ask about an early bird special. Unfortunately, our server didn’t mention it. Our meal was delicious anyway!

                                                                We had the Oysters Rockefeller, Seafood Risotto and the Seabass. Everything was absolutley amazing.

                                                                It was fabulous for our first visit on our anniversary and they took great care of us! Added the desert and of course we had dining credit bonuses with player card so that was great too. Excellent ala cart steakhouse menu.

                                                                Service was wonderful. Clean. Wine, salad, entree and sides were delicious. Dessert was not my favorite, probably just personal taste. They looked pretty, just didn’t do it for me. Will definitely go back. Probably try a different dessert.
