Whilst Silures is firmly rooted in Wales, benefiting from the abundance of local produce available, the all-day dining menu is inspired by the broadness and endless possibilities of Modern European cuisine.

The all-day dining menu is available from day to night, with Sunday Roast showcasing on the weekends. The bar is a bustling and non-stop space, open to all and featuring a range of crafted cocktails, draught beer and bespoke bar snacks.

Born in Roath, Cardiff, Silures is an integral part of the community not only by creating an accessible but premium offering, but by championing environmental sustainability, local supply lines and ethical practices.

Amazing Sunday lunch at Silures, the pork was outstanding and always a generous portion, with the best crackling we have tasted in years, along with all of the accompaniments, delicious yorshires and gravy, so with the fishcake to start and the rice pudding to finish, we had a perfect meal

Booked a table for eight and we were looked after superbly by Andre and his team. Food and wine were superb, with everybody enjoying. Roath and Cardiff are very fortunate to a restaurant of this calibre on its doorstep.

Fabulous meal once again, by far the best Mussels I have had. Who would have thought large croutons in the sauce would make me so happy.

As always it’s fantastic. In the past year I feel they have really found their groove and figured out what food works and what drinks work. It’s brilliant to have something over the roath side of Cardiff that is so exceptional. We sometimes consider going to Tomos in Pontcanna of Heaney’s for a similar experience but then thing Silures is so much closer so we’ll go there. The staff are also exceptionally polite, helpful and remember you. The cocktails are severed in a classic way ( no tiki jugs here ) and are executed well. It also doesn’t take hours for them to be served. The wine list is also great. If you want a snack and a drink they also have a small bar area. I genuinely love this place, it’s a great treat.
