Feed me menu was very disappointing. Small servings, and no value for money. Wa Great cocktails

Hi Sam, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am very sorry that you were dissatisfied with the serving size. We find that most groups are very satisfied when they have one of our chefs selection menus. Even though each dish may not be huge there is normally plenty of food in total. I am glad that you liked the cocktails and hope you can come again, even if it is just for a drink or two.

It was a lovely place and our maitre’d was exceptional The tuna and the Brussel sprouts and ham hock were outstanding

We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening for a relaxing dinner. The initial vibe and food were great. However, our dinner experience was ruined by the poor service. We understood that there was a special event in the restaurant but it should not compromise other customer's service for this reason. We have indicated on several occasions that we have to be elsewhere and unable to dine in for more than 2 hours. We were disappointed that the request was not fulfilled and also experienced a delay in bringing the bill.

Hi, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us the feedback, we really appreciate it as it does provide us with the opportunity to improve. We would like to mention though that upon arrival when you advised us that you only had two hours to dine we suggested that you go with the smaller of our chef's selections rather than the larger one. Despite this and being told that we would be very busy that evening you still went with the larger menu. We may have been able to serve this to you in two hours had the restaurant been quiet but even without the event we had in our function room it would have been challenging to serve you that menu in such a short time. We do hope you come back and would love an opportunity to arrange a return visit.

I was taken here for my birthday so it was a complete surprise. Walking into the dining room I was delighted with the ambience, great walls, cushions, muted colours, a really welcoming coziness on a rather freezing Melbourne night. The waiter sat with us to figure out the best menu as I'm vegetarian and he made really good suggestions. Everything was delicious. We ranked it one of the best meals we've ever eaten. The entire experience was beautiful end-to-end.

We had a beautiful early dinner at Sixty Smith before going to a show. The mushroom croquettes with truffle mayo were the best but everything we ate was amazing and the wine and service were great.

I remember Sixty Smith used to be a really good restaurant, but my recent visit was disappointing. The wait between courses was too long, and the food didn't come out in the order we expected from the menu. Even though the restaurant looked nice, it was too quiet, and we could hear other people talking more than the background music, which made it feel strange. The food quality wasn't great either. The salad wasn't anything special, and the onions were too big. We even found a tomato with the stem still attached, which was confusing. We also didn't know most of the courses what they were made of, or what ingredients they had and you guys used to said that. The dessert was disappointing, and there was no flavour of caramel like it said on the menu. The only good things were the chicken dish and the melon appetizer. For the price we paid, the dinner wasn't worth it. They could definitely do better.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Feedback is always valuable. I'm very sorry that the experience was not to your liking although I'm very glad that you have enjoyed Sixty Smith in the past and hopefully will do so in the future, as I'm sure you can see from other recent reviews we have been quite well received recently. Background music is such a difficult thing to get the level right for everyone, what is too quiet for some is too loud to others, we try to find the right balance, I'm sorry that it did not work for you. I will pass your feedback about the food onto the kitchen but our Valentine menu was well received from other reports. We would love to have you back soon so we could hopefully prove that this experience for you was an anomaly.
