Make yourself at home on Smith St in our cosy restaurant, dine outdoors in our undercover garden, enjoy an evening of private dining in our upstairs attic or pull up a chair at the bar.

Sixty Smith can cater to large group bookings from cocktail parties to private dining celebrations to corporate lunches. Please head to our website or get in contact to find out more.

From the outside I first thought it was a bar and had the wrong address as the restaurant is located at the back up some stairs. The photos on the website were not accurate. I was expecting a little more finer dining experience, especially for the prices. 2 chicken skewers for $24 is excessive and was dry. The rub eye for 2 was nice but full of sinew so alot of it inedible. I ordered a glass of red that was a 3rd filled, not sure that this is a standard drink. The server was polite and friendly. Overall, ok but don't believe it was value for the money we spent.

I'm not sure what makes you think the website photo's are inaccurate, they are all taken here and are either of current dishes or ones recently passed. I'm sorry that you had problems with your food, did you raise it with your waiter at the time? A standard wine glass is 150ml and our wine glasses are designed to be 150ml when the wine is a their widest point. I'm very glad you enjoyed the service, unfortunately, the cost of going out to dinner keeps going up as the costs for the restaurants keep increasing, I'm sorry that you did not think that your money was well spent at Sixty Smith, I hope you consider returning so we can change your mind.

Thanks for a great evening. Food drinks and service were as exceptional as always. And those oysters were YUM.

Hi Sam, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am very sorry that you were dissatisfied with the serving size. We find that most groups are very satisfied when they have one of our chefs selection menus. Even though each dish may not be huge there is normally plenty of food in total. I am glad that you liked the cocktails and hope you can come again, even if it is just for a drink or two.

We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening for a relaxing dinner. The initial vibe and food were great. However, our dinner experience was ruined by the poor service. We understood that there was a special event in the restaurant but it should not compromise other customer's service for this reason. We have indicated on several occasions that we have to be elsewhere and unable to dine in for more than 2 hours. We were disappointed that the request was not fulfilled and also experienced a delay in bringing the bill.

Hi, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us the feedback, we really appreciate it as it does provide us with the opportunity to improve. We would like to mention though that upon arrival when you advised us that you only had two hours to dine we suggested that you go with the smaller of our chef's selections rather than the larger one. Despite this and being told that we would be very busy that evening you still went with the larger menu. We may have been able to serve this to you in two hours had the restaurant been quiet but even without the event we had in our function room it would have been challenging to serve you that menu in such a short time. We do hope you come back and would love an opportunity to arrange a return visit.

I was taken here for my birthday so it was a complete surprise. Walking into the dining room I was delighted with the ambience, great walls, cushions, muted colours, a really welcoming coziness on a rather freezing Melbourne night. The waiter sat with us to figure out the best menu as I'm vegetarian and he made really good suggestions. Everything was delicious. We ranked it one of the best meals we've ever eaten. The entire experience was beautiful end-to-end.
