Often referred to as “the wine lover's restaurant,” Sixty Vines delivers simple, yet flavorful cuisine paired perfectly with 60 wines on its sustainable tap system. Every plate and pour is designed to inspire adventure and discovery of wine culture reimagined. Guests are encouraged to experience abundance over shared plates, enjoy wine “pinkies down” and to visit for brunch, lunch and dinner. Signature menu items include charcuterie boards, seasonal proteins, wood fired pizzas and innovative pasta dishes all inspired by ingredients found in wine country.

The food was phenomenal. However, the service was very lackadaisical for a Wednesday lunch. Attentiveness went away after our server handed us our drinks and shareable we did not see them much. We asked for a second round of water and did not receive it. We were informed a pre-shift meeting was taking place — from another server— which we understand. It overall was not attentive service. Almost like no one wanted to be there. My partner highly recommended this location due to the exceptional experience at the bar previously. This experience did not live up to the same quality. It’s disappointing because we were there to celebrate their birthday — which was not at all inquired about during our time.

We waited an extraordinary amount of time for our server to check on us after we got our food. When he dropped the food - he did just that, put it on the table and skedaddled, without asking how things were, or if we would like anything else. Then, when leaving, a staff member was cleaning the revolving door, blocking access. I tried the door next to it, which was locked. The hostess encouraged me to try again, and again, it didn’t open - because it was locked. It is completely unacceptable to have the ONE available exit door locked. I have enjoyed my three experiences at Sixty Vines with varying degrees. The service on the last two occasions was bad, while the food and wine were good. This door episode and the lack of awareness for why this was an issue was next level. Please fix this issues. It’s an OK place that has the potential to be good.

This is a nice restaurant, but the seating with a reservation took about 15 minutes and the service was slow (we waited for an hour to get our food after ordering it) on a Saturday evening. We had two glasses of local Pinot Noir which were OK, an appetizer with Burrata which was below par, and the pizza with the cauliflower crust. There was no indication of any kind of hot spice in the pizza's description, yet we can wholeheartedly say this was the spiciest pizza we have ever eaten in our lives, and we are heading towards our 60s. They should send the chefs to Italy or France for practical training before they start here.

Didn’t get waited on for 30 mins but the manager then came over and apologized and comped our appetizers and made sure we got great service the rest of the night!

Second time visiting Sixty Vines DC. Love it. Service is excellent (Had TJ this time). Food is fresh and very tasty. Great quality ingredients. Drinks are also excellent. I will always stop by for brunch when in DC.

Great food pork chops sooo tender and the halibut was top notch! We are not wine drinkers but go for the amazing food! Highly reccomend.
