We were greeted by an attentive host and promptly shown to a nice corner table; unfortunately everything that followed was comically poor. Our table had one menu for four people, no napkins or flatware. After waiting for 10 minutes with no sign of a server, we asked for the missing items from the host. Our server finally showed up ten minutes after that to take drink order. The drinks came quickly but appetizers (one order of happy hour sliders)arrived 15 minutes after ordering. For entrees, the $32 steak frites was easily the most disappointing. Ordered medium, it arrived well done and sliced with the grain with hardly any of the promised sauce, making it nearly impossible to chew. The romaine on the Caesar salad was drowning in a below average dressing that resembled lemon ranch, with no hint of anchovy or garlic, and the croutons were straight from a box. The fish and chips were greasy and bland. We didn't see our server during any point after entrees were served by a back waiter, likely because she was busy talking with coworkers, checking her phone and to our complete amazement, chewing a big wad of blue gum.
If you'd like to further discuss any of these details, I think this is a great opportunity for training your staff on the very basics of operation and will be glad to speak with the manager.
