Indulge in a 3-course Pre-Theatre menu at the UK’s only Michelin-starred American restaurant—just a 5-minute walk from the major West End theatres! Begin your meal with three exquisite canapés: Deviled Egg, Vodka Cured Salmon “Roulade,” and Suckling Pig Breast. Starters feature choices like Sashimi of the Day “Memories of Kyoto” or Langoustine “Nabemono.” For mains, select between Roasted Day Boat Scallop or Duck “Demi Deuil.” End on a sweet note with desserts of Black Sollies Figs or the elegant “Mont Blanc.” We’ll ensure your experience is as seamless as it is memorable, with plenty of time to make it to your show. Tight space. Technically the food is not there yet. The wine list is tiny and offers no value or depth. Downstairs space to be avoided.

A really lovely meal, attentive staff, full of theatre but I do think £12 for an americano coffee a bit pricey

The food and wine pairing were excellent. Staff were warm and attentive. This one is certainly in the top 3 of our dining experiences. Loved it. I was offered an alternative to cater for my egg white intolerance.

Pre-theatre menu is a great experience at a very reasonable price. Staff are also very welcoming and make the visit very enjoyable.

We were welcomed warmly and sat at a very comfortable corner table. The food was interesting and delicious, the wine list very limited and pricey. Our only complaint was the rushed service. Just 5 minutes extra between courses would have made the whole experience much better. As it was it was a bit like a conveyor belt of dishes. The sommelier was charming and chatty. Overall it was a great lunch. Recommended.

A very warm welcome on arrival and shown to our seat. Sadly it was next to the opening into the kitchen not a chefs table view just a view of the end of the kitchen which wasn’t the prettiest and all the waiting staff were going past our table constantly. The lovely sommelier moved us on to another table which was better but it was a bit big for two people. Meal started well lots of lovely dishes beautifully presented on the plate and by the waiting staff. The wine list is very small and very expensive which I didn’t like it was like you were trapped into having a very expensive bottle of wine. The meal was nice but it was all too fast for me and started to feel functional. The lovely service from the staff continued throughout and with a bit of magic too. A big point for me was the smell of the restaurant it smelt like damp and vinegar and wasn’t pleasant at all and there was so much condensation on all of the windows too For such an expensive meal I would expect the surroundings to have been much better and one toilet for everyone again not a major issue but isn’t ideal While I enjoyed the experience I felt Sola didn’t live up to the hype and could be so much better with some changes
