Two of the most recommended experiences are the seatings at the Chef's counter and the Bar, perfect for groups of 2 or 3 people max. In either setting, you'll get up close and personal: see our gestures, and take in our aromas.

Bastante promedio, nada espectacular, pedí el Omakase y la experiencia fue mediocre, te dan sus productos top y te los cobran como omakase, me juntaron rollos y niguiris sin un plato central, sin atención explicación o servicio del chef aún estando en barra de cocina. La neofusion que predican es una pantomima.

Muchas gracias Sommo por una gran experiencia. La comida nos sorprendió, está a un gran nivel, la música increíble y sobretodo la atención del personal, jimmy, mario, julio y Miguel !! Altamente recomendable.

Went to Sommo today with 2 friends. Myself and one friend got the Omakase option (6 dishes hand-picked by the chef). We were given the seaweed salad, miso soup and edamame to start. This was very disappointing given that these are the most basic and cheapest of options on the menu. We also got the Catch of the Day sashimi, 5-piece premium nigiri, and the Eun roll which had half as many pieces as our 3rd friend who ordered this roll a-la-carte instead of the Omakase. We tallied up the total of our dishes, which came out to $1090 if ordered a-la-carte compared to the $1400 that we paid for the Omakase. Super disappointing given that the Omakase description literally states it is a “vow of trust” to leave it up to the chef. While the food itself was pretty good and we were recommended this place by another customer, this feels like we were ripped off and unfortunately we won’t be recommending Sommo to others given the circumstances.

Comida exquisita, súper fresca, de la mejor calidad. El servicio y el tiempo para recibir nuestros alimentos fue de lo mejor que nos ha tocado en todo el estado de Oaxaca. Los tragos también son muy buenos. Lo recomiendo ampliamente
