Welcome to The Sondes Arms

The Sondes Arms, Rockingham, is a 16th Century coaching inn, with amazing views of Rockingham Castle and Church. Having recently undergone a full refurbishment, The Sondes Arms offers a delightful Bar and Restaurant ideal for every occasion.

We pride ourselves as a family friendly public house & serve a traditional pub menu of home cooked food. In addition we serve our beautiful home cooked carvery all day Sunday and now Wednesday and Friday evenings along with a great range of lagers, ales and wines

The carvery is the best we have had with excellent produce used and a brilliant variety of vegetables. The meat is expertly prepared and plentiful. The only downside is the cost and felt it was slightly overpriced and had certainly increased for the Xmas period - same food , same service should equal same price as a few weeks previously.

This was the best carvery I have had in a long time. Staff were helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. And the food was amazing. I will definitely return

Was very impressed. When booked was unaware it was festive menu only. Bit expensive but hope to return next year for normal carvery.

We enjoyed the Christmas dinner today, great menu choice, food was excellent and staff helpful and friendly. A lovely start to the festive season.

Far too hot open please some windows. Also service staff got our orders wrong twice sadly. However on a positive front carvery was nice and overall feel of the place was good
