Art meets fashion in a deliciously romantic South of France setting. Sophie Cocktail & Terrace Bar will debut in the Montrose neighborhood, July 2024. The next see-and-be-seen nightlife destination will feature two distinct concepts, including Downstairs, Sophie's living room, an intimate cocktail bar, and an expansive second-floor open-air terrace bar. The menu will boast both signature and presentation-based cocktails, extensive selections of domestic and French wines, plus a delightful selection of Mediterranean tapas-style bites. Poised to be a neighborhood staple, Sophie Cocktail & Terrace Bar will be open seven days a week, offering guests a variety of programming from happy hour, DJ nights, live music, weekend brunch, and more!

I recently dined at Sophie's on Valentine's Day and was disappointed with the service. Despite understanding the expected wait times due to the holiday, the quality of service was horrible. The Valentine's menu item I ordered, grilled cheese, was not properly prepared, as the cheese was not fully melted. Additionally, the staff appeared disorganized and unfamiliar with their duties, resembling a temporary banquet service hired for the occasion. The server was also rude.

We decided to try this restaurant for Valentine’s Day, hoping for a special evening, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The service was unbelievably slow—our main course arrived before the drinks and appetizers, completely throwing off the dining experience. To make matters worse, the appetizer finally showed up at the end of the meal, which made no sense at all. The biggest letdown was the dessert. We ordered tiramisu, expecting a classic, creamy treat, but it was rock-hard and impossible to chew. It was inedible. Despite all these issues, we ended up paying the full bill Overall, the experience was frustrating, and we will definitely not be returning. If you’re looking for good service and a well-paced meal, this is NOT the place to go.

Probably the worst cocktails ever. All are super sweet. We asked if they could make a cosmopolitan light on the sweet and we all received sickly sweet neon pink cocktails. Another asked for a dirty martini and it was basically all olive juice. Several orders were wrong, and service was terribly slow. On the upside the flatbread was delicious and the ambience was great. Not enough to make up for the sorry cocktails!

Realmente, no había donde parquear luego de casi 20 min buscando entramos, no había nadie y bien básico el servicio horario de cierre 11pm cuando dice 2am y me fui xq no era lo q decía!

I had the best time at Sophie’s! The food was amazing, the waiters William and Fredy were excellent, music was everything! If you need a dinner night with the girls, this is the place. Super cute place to take pictures. I loved it.

Our waitress had a really bad attitude and did not pay any attention to our table. Would not even come around to take our order for food or drinks. We had to wave her down multiple times. Don’t remember her name, but have been told by some of my friends that the waitresses her typically have a bad attitude and the service is very slow. We really like the vibe and the food though.

Took forever to get served anything and then when they did bring our shots we ordered for a birthday toast they were all tequila drinks and we ordered vodka!

Very cute very aesthetic. That’s it. That’s the only thing that is “good”. Service not good at all we had to ask for a server after sitting at our reserved table for 10min with no greeting. We finally ordered food and drinks off a VERY limited menu. We received our food before we ever got our drinks and the food was very mid and very small portioned. My friend actually sent her flatbread back and got a burger instead. I got pasta that was literally just “ok”. When we finally received our drinks they were in a small glass. The margarita arrived and wasn’t even half way full and had a huge ice cube dropped in it. The drink was 20$. Gratuity is also already added for servers and the terrible service we received. We went across the street to BBs and got a margarita that was full for 12$. Actually the drinks are more expensive at Sophie than any other other bars in that area so do with that information what you will.

Woefully run establishment. None of the staff know the menu. Took 30 minutes to get a round of drinks, which tasted awful and were very small pours. Will not be coming back.
