We made a reservation for 7 family members for my daughters 13th birthday. Our appetizer’s were good, but the mains were not good at all. My father and me both had the veal scalloping, and I’ve had it at the downtown Edmonton location many times, and here it was honestly not good at all. The sauce was completely different, and it was like eating shoe leather almost. My wife’s parents steak was cooked blue rare, but they sent it back to get cooked a bit more. The green beans on my plate were rock hard/barely cooked, but on the parents plate they were mushy. Most of our meals were also cold. Just very inconsistent food. It’s weird because I’ve ate at Sorrentino’s in the city many times, we get our company lunched catered by Sorrentino’s in the city, and the food is always good. Here not so much unfortunately. I do want to say our waitress was very good though!

we booked the reservation on line stating it was our daughter birthday but nothing extra qwas offered for her. we called the restaurent asking i f can bring a BD cake but was first told that it wasnt allowed and on a second call they said it would be a $3.50 charge per person and still there wasn't any suggestion of a special item for her. She turned 40 and we had 5 people dining! very disappointed

We’ve had some variable experiences with Sorrentinos but this night was quite good. It might have helped that they weren’t overly busy. Their special sea bass was very nicely done & my wife’s chicken scallopini was good. The server was pleasant & attentive.

Staff was very cheerful, helpful & knowledgeable Everything on the menu looked tasty… So I ordered way more items than I should have. I’m glad I did though because it was all delicious. - New York steak cooked Chicago style ( cooked to perfection), Beet salad (excellent), prawns were to die for. Sorry … but never took pictures.

The meal, service and the atmosphere were all excellent. We have eaten at this restaurant many times and they have never disappointed, not even a little bit!
