I still can’t wrap my head around it, this restaurant was always in my top places to go, I love their bakery and ethos. Yesterday dinner was collection of overpriced tasteless dishes. Beef tongue was lukewarm, horseradish wasn’t tasting of anything and was grated on bigger pie so the flavour wasn’t complimenting the meat. Sliver of the boiled red cabbage was rather sad. Beef cheek salad was slightly better however the abundance of the sauce made the radishes soggy and without any taste. The biggest disappointment was the teal - uncooked, still very raw and attached to the bones, with boiled parsnips around it . In my head this meal would be tender wild beef with meat falling from the bones and full of flavours. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case. Price was too high for whatever was on the menu.
