    Our server was outstanding! The description he gave on the specials were so detailed and mouthwateringly delicious. He is fantastic, one of the very best in San Diego. Providing outstanding service is an art. Bonus kudos for bringing extra, extra ketchup for our 2 order of fries.

    This is one of those restaurants that deserves a Michelin star but won't get it because it doesn't have veggies cut into flowers. It's too solidly good. Don't go. We don't want you fill up all the reservation times. We'll keep going ourselves.

    Wow, the food was so good. We got a private area near the kitchen, so it was quiet for us. Loved the bread, the wagyu filet mignon, drinks and service. We had been the fie6st week or two of steak 48, and it was ok. Today was so much better! A bit expensive ($700 with bottle of good wine and tip, with wagyu for two). But so freaking good.

    My wife and I decided to try a new place for our wedding anniversary and could not be happier with our decision. From the moment we stepped in, we were treated with excellent service. Our server Trevor pulled out all of the stops. He was attentive and a true professional of his craft. The food was piping hot, all temps on point and flavors as well. An overall wonderful experience. We will be back and will be suggesting this establishment to our friends and family. It's a breath of fresh air to see this level of service. Our DRA Mario was also attentive and a gentleman. Bravo.

    Steak48 is a must do for steak lovers. The appetizers and steak were amazing. The service was excellent. We had the hanging bacon, pork belly, Tomahawk steak, au gratin and baked potatoes. They had plenty of gluten free options. Cons: The interior was beautiful, but the music was loud. We spent $500 on 3 people for appetizers, steak, and sides. It does not include any alcohol or dessert..

    Wonderful menu and service. We ordered filet mignon, scallops, burrata cheese, roasted cauliflower, truffle fries, and two desserts. Cocktails were amazing!

    Our waiter was great. Our food was good. Our card did get over charged and then they reversed it so not a huge deal but extra annoyance to have to go back-and-forth. Steak 48 is a lovely dinner spot or special occasion spot. I would recommend it.  they wrote a personalized birthday card and it was a nice touch.

    Good energy atmosphere with chic guests. Entire staff is courteous, helpful. Service was perfect, food delicious. That fried lobster tail was devine, as was the hamachi, bone in steak, hassle back potato..........and these are the reasons we often dine at Steak 48.
