STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

    Special ravilol drowning in cream sauce and the ravioli was not fresh and super hard n rubbery. And off colored. I honestly didn’t have the heart to complain as the server was so nice and it wouldn’t change anything except me complaining to kitchen. I thought dessert would change my feelings but didn’t .. I feel like everything was just sitting for few days and they needed to get rid of it. Matcha Cheesecake was hard too and dry. Appetizers were ehh. The truffle fries were not anything I would come back for as they were wilty and not special.

    Cocktails very slow to the table causing one with whipped cream to melt unattractively into the drink. Soup and salad starters were good. One entry, tuna entry Bowl was good the other Mahi entry bowl was not. It lacked flavor and both the rice and fish were over cooked. Restaurants very noisy making it difficult to have a conversation. Expensive for the experience received. Not a good value overall.
