Stokes Adobe is a new restaurant located in one of Old Monterey’s historic adobe homes. The menu offers chef driven seasonally inspired California cuisine. The bar and cozy outdoor fire pits offer classic cocktails, wines by the glass and local beers.

                                                  The restaurant from beginning to end was a great experience. They were so accomodating for our party of 7. The service, food, and drinks were outstanding. We all had a great time, thank you!

                                                  We loved everything we ate- 3 appetizers and our entrees- wagyu beef and the pork chop. Our cocktails were wonderful, as well as the service. After dinner we enjoyed a few minutes on the front patio relaxing around the roaring fire of one of 4 fire pits. It was a perfect dinner out!

                                                  What a charming place, no wonder the locals are quick to recommend this spot. Our waiter, Stephan was attentive but not smothering and very engaging.

                                                  Food & service are both incredible!! Restaurant is very dark (hard to see not just the menu but also the food) and spread out so felt empty.

                                                  A wonderful evening. We sat inside. The setting is warm and comfortable. The food was perfection. The service was just right. Attentive but not hovering. Loved it!

                                                  This is our third visit. Food is fabulous and consistent. This visit we were seated in a loft above the bar. Booth was too roomy for 4 and we felt tuck away in a corner. No ambiance. Service was slow at the beginning..a long time to get a drink ..but the waitress caught up and the staff was on top of things once we got going. We will visit again …will request a different table and hope the food maintains it amazing qualities. It’s nice when a restaurant is consistent! Was in the business 25 years so I appreciate when all goes right.

                                                  Everything we had to eat was truly incredible…and we are spoiled little foodies! Scallops so good we had to order another plate. Pasta out of this world. Gorgeous setting. You could propose to someone here.
