Sugar Factory Tampa will be located at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at 5223 Orient Road, Tampa, FL 33610. Sugar Factory American Brasserie will be open weekdays from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. and weekends from 11a.m. – 1a.m. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served daily and brunch will be available on Saturdays and Sundays. Sugar Factory Tampa will be located on the Mezzanine level of the casino, overlooking the grand entrance, within the newly opened hotel and casino. The 120-seat full-service restaurant will feature the brand’s signature confectionary, which boasts a 4,000-square-foot, floor-to-ceiling candy wall with over 500 types of candy, including a selection of bulk and novelty candy like the world-famous Couture Pops. Complementing the candy, the café will also offer coffees, hot chocolate, frozen hot chocolate, homemade specialty rainbow doughnuts and pastries in addition to homemade gelato and ice cream.

Great experience. Had a reservation and still had to wait 30 minutes, but it was such a fun environment it made up alittle. Wishing there was any gluten free options. For such a popular food chain, the lack of allergy Information/options was crazy.

Any time there is a gimmicky restaurant, there isn’t a high expectation. The drinks in the big goblets and the desserts were fun and very cute. The food was mediocre. Our server was not very attentive- water was not refilled, a soda that was ordered at the beginning of the meal after the entrees had been finished, dishes were not bussed from the tables, and he never checked on us after our food was delivered. It also took forever for him to come by to take our dessert order and then to bring the check. It’s supposed to be a fun experience but it was just lackluster. For 4 people- 1 large non-alcoholic drink, 2 sodas, 4 entrees, 1 milkshake and 1 coffee was $200 with tip. And while I expected the expense, I thought the service would at least match the cost.

We were very disappointed with the whole experience! We got seated waiter came introduced himself. Took a while until he came back with water then take our order in a not friendly way. After 15 minutes we got one drink he never brought the whole drink order brought the appetizer. Waited 50 more minutes for the food forgot one of the girls order. The burger buns had Mac and cheese stuck to the bottom of them bun. The meat in the chicken Alfredo tried out. Salmon on my salad was so hard that you could not eat it. Know that was a 19 dollar addition to my salad. This was my daughter’s Birthday bad food poor service for a high end restaurant. Will not return.

For the need of making a reservation and the prices being on the high end, I was definitely left disappointed. I got fish and chips. The fish was soggy with no crunch from the breading, and the fries were floppy and cold. My friend got a burger whose patty looked like it had been pulled out of a freezer and then way over cooked but was also cold. The drinks were tasty, but $42 dollars for a fishbowl that’s 75% ice is ridiculous. To top it off, there were only a handful of other diners there, yet we hardly ever saw our waiter, and our food and drinks seemed to take forever to be brought out to us. No desire to come back, overpriced and overhyped.

Everyone was so attentive and fun! The servers were amazing and checking in for our table was a smooth process.

The server was great. The food was mediocre. The French onion soup was watery and lacked flavor. The Nashville Hot smash burger was good, but I wouldn't say it was smashed...more like a regular burger. Fries were not fresh.mmprobably sitting around for a bit. The dessert was bad. How do you serve a warm cookie skillet dessert cold? It was hard as a rock and not even warm. We sent it back and left. Doubt we will be back here again!

We had a reservation and put a note on it that we were coming for a birthday. When we arrived we told the hostess that we had a reservation. She did not ask us anything and told us to sit wherever we wanted. We chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was polite and gave us time to look over the menu and gave recommendations when I asked for some. It took over 15 minutes to get our hot chocolates. The food was cooked to order and was ok but pricey for what you got. The biggest letdown was that NOBODY mentioned ANYTHING about it being a birthday. That was the whole reason we were there. Very disappointing.

When we got there we were not greeted and the host seemed confused even after mentioning we had reservations. The waitress greeted us with everything that they did not have…which was a lot. It was very poor service. We ordered a cookie skillet that was forgot about and had to wait another 15-20 minutes after everyone else was finished with their deserts. The cost of everything was not worth it. Although our daughter had a great time we will most likely never come back. Hopefully things get fixed and service is better.
