Our server, Myles, was literally the most incredible person. So friendly and attentive, and had us all cracking up! The drinks? 10/10. The appetizers? 10/10. The food? 10/10. For being a Monday night in Disney Springs, it wasn’t anything crazy loud, but definitely not a quiet, candlelight dinner either. The restaurant itself offers gorgeous views, and a light, welcoming aesthetic which was wonderful considering it was 12° when we left Cleveland the same morning. We will be returning ANY time we come back to Disney!

Awesome. Happy was very affordable. We made our reservation for dinner so it was easy to switch from bar to table. Staff were friendly and great. Food was delicious and quick. Cookie to go for dessert!!

Certainly! Here's the updated version: We usually LOVE Summer House on the Lake! It's one of our absolute favorite spots, and when we're in Orlando, we make it a point to dine there multiple times. During my recent 10-day trip to Orlando, this was our second visit, as I wanted to introduce others to a place we truly enjoy. I also made reservations well in advance because my husband, who had never been there before, was joining us this time, and I was excited for him to experience it. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t quite meet our usual expectations. We had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, and when our 4-cookie dessert was served, our finished dinner plates were still on the table. At the end of the meal, the plates were left there even as we departed. Additionally, one of the servers accidentally spilled ketchup and broke a bottle nearby. It wasn’t until I put on my coat to leave that I realized it had ketchup on it. When I brought this up with the manager on duty, her response was simply, “Oh, did you get a wet wipe?” While I understand accidents happen, as someone with experience in the service industry, I found that response disappointing. I’ll now need to have my coat dry-cleaned. Another issue arose with the military discount, which we’ve used successfully during at least three recent visits. This time, we had to go back and forth to get it honored, which was frustrating, though it was eventually resolved. I understand that no establishment is perfect, and perhaps this was just an off night. Still, it was unfortunate for my husband’s first experience at a place we’ve raved about to fall short of the usual standard we’ve come to love. I hope this feedback helps ensure that others continue to have the exceptional experiences we’ve had in the past.

Love everything about this restaurant—the decor, the food, the drinks, and the service. One of our party needs GF options and says this is the best fried chicken sandwich she has ever had. Plus many other options are GF.

The restaurant is beautiful and the ambience is very nice which gives you high hopes for the food and drinks. Unfortunately the food and drinks are subpar. We started off with appetizers and ordered the meatballs and deviled eggs which were both great along with truffles fries which lacked salt and were very thin and small in size. I ordered a red sangria which tasted to bitter so I returned it. For our entrees we ordered, grouper fish and chips, picnic fried chicken basket and crispy fish tacos and here is where most of my disappointment comes from. The grouper fish and chips was one long piece of fish with a plate full of fries, for $35.00 I expected more fish than fries. The picnic fried chicken basket came with fries and a side of coleslaw, the chicken itself was descent but the bbq sauce that came with it didn’t taste like bbq sauce at all, I can’t even describe the taste it was so weird, but there was no tanginess or sweetness to it and the “side” of coleslaw was more like a taste of coleslaw because the portion was so small. The bbq sauce container was bigger than the container that held the coleslaw, it was that small. Lastly the crispy fish tacos I paid $30.00 for about five bites of fish literally. There were three tacos and all three tacos didn’t even have enough fish to fill up half the corn tortilla, the tortilla somehow was hard around the edges but the center of the tortillas were cold and soft, not sure what method they used to warm/cook the tortillas but heating up tortillas on a stove is not hard at all, I’ve been warming up tortillas since I was a child. They put way too much cilantro and slaw in the taco and I couldn’t even taste the crema. It was as if they knew the fish was so small they had to makeup for it by adding a whole bunch of cilantro and slaw. I didn’t bring any of my issues up with the server because none of this is her fault and portion sizes/taste of food have more to do with management and the head chef.

Always a great meal and drinks - brunch is always yum. We did wait 30 minutes after our reservation time - I did finally go to the front and ask. The hostess was very befuddled; so odd as usually they are so organized. We chose to take a table outside which was perfect! It was a beautiful FL winter day so great for sitting by the lake. Food was great - service was fine.
