Amazing experience! We had 8 adults and 2 children in one of the big surf board booths behind the back wall of the bar and it was a perfect experience. We ordered appetizers, drinks, pizzas, and kids dinners which were all delicious! Great time was had by ages 3-53!

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My granddaughter loved her cheese pizza that was shaped like Mickey Mouse; such a wonderful surprise.

Went for an early dinner on New Year's Eve and had the worst service ever. The restaurant was not that crowded at all, and we never received an item we ordered. The worst part is the waitress when asked about it, rudely replied, "I don't make the drinks" and didn't do anything to check on it or provide us what we ordered. Unbelievable. We love Newport and come multiple times a year and love eating out at all the many great restaurants - the Surf Club is obviously not properly managed and can't handle a normal (not crowded) service. The worst was this surly waiter/busboy who when we were leaving made a snarky comment because we had complained that we never received our order but it was on the check. These servers have no idea what fine or even decent service is. Having been in the restaurant business for years, these two would have been fired so quickly if an owner only knew. Bad service is bad enough but then to be combative when called out on it is seriously ruinous to a business. None of us will be returning to the Surf Club - ick.

Service and food mediocre. And after only 1 hour and 10 minutes into our reservation the hostess came to our table to hurry us up, telling us they had another reservation for the table in 20 minutes and since we already paid our bill, we should be aware of that, though I was still finishing a cocktail. We will not be going back to Surf House again.

We sat on the patio which was great on a nice evening. No water view. I had the tuna poke bowl and it was so good! The summer spritzer cocktail was a great balance of sweet and tangy. I took a picture to try to make it again.
