   1000% won’t recommend. This place is a tourist trap, don’t go! I would of rather skipped out on my reservation, pay the $80 fee they force on you for reserving something and missing it by 5 minutes, and gone somewhere else if I knew this place was going to be this bad. Hella loud, feels like a techno concert in there. You can barely hear yourself speak so you just have to yell at each other. The food, it was whack. $17 for a hand roll, and it’s literally a seaweed sheet with one piece of eel and a lick of rice. Looked more like a taco then a handroll. They then proceeded to take 45 minutes to get it to me. I literally ordered a miso soup($6), their plantains($20) and 1 hand roll($17), all small plates…. Like small small... At any other sushi spot this takes 10 minutes and half the cost. The service was probably the best thing there, we got sat quick and the server was friendly and personable but once I complained about the time it took to get my food, the attitude kicked in. He did give me the food for free since he knew how long it was to get it, so thank you, but damn the attitude was wild. Overall this place sucked. Cool decorations and paintings, but half their LEDs are broken too. We left and went to get to Yakitori in convoy, my food took 6 minutes to get to me from when I sat. I even mentioned it was our anniversary and had nothing prepared or even offered dessert. This place blows.

   Great find in old town. Some of the negative comments were about poor service and noise from the live DJ. Our service was great and although we did ask to move from our original seating location due to noise , our second table was perfectly comfortable and the vibe in Tako made up for it I’d definitely recommend it and we will be back

   Very cute and hip vibe. Delicious and fun craft cocktails. Delicious food. Standouts were the yellowtail citrus dish and the XXX roll! DJ volume was a bit too loud for my taste but the tunes were great. Our party of 4 was very happy and we want to return soon!

   Sushi was AMAZING! Expensive, but absolutely delicious. Our server, Vito, was well-versed on the menu and able to give us recommendations on dishes and drinks. Everything he recommended was a 10/10. This place is decorated super cute, they had a DJ who played great music, but it wasn’t loud enough that you couldn’t enjoy a conversation.

   First off Vito our waiter was literally the best waiter we’ve had in years at any restaurant. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and did not rush us out on our date night. His recommendations were on point and the food was some of the best and most unique sushi we’ve had. The plantain and spicy tuna was out of this world. The shishito peppers were perfect in flavor and not overly spicy. Pantera was the perfect way to finish off the food. The drinks are pricier than the food so just keep that in mind. It would be nice to add some drink specials. However, they do throw in some extras like a shot and dessert. All in all well done and the ambiance and decor add to the experience!

    My husband and I had dinner here last night. It wasn’t too busy and there were several open tables when we arrived. We were seated right away but swaited 15 minutes before our server came over and we watched other guests get seated after us but served before us.
