Located in Bardstown, Kentucky, Talbott Tavern serves American cuisine in a casual, sit-down setting. In addition to its regular menu, the restaurant offers special menus for large groups or parties. Talbott Tavern offers a drink menu full of beer, wine and spirits as well as a diverse selection of cocktails.

Choose from entrées at Talbott Tavern like the bourbon walnut chicken which is served with stone-ground grits and the seasonal vegetable of the day or the pot roast with pan gravy. Each entrée comes with your choice of two sides. The restaurant also offers gluten-free menu items like the bourbon BBQ ribs served with a baked potato and seasonal vegetables.

We all had great meals and the waiter was wonderful. We like that the nearby music wasn’t too loud also.

We loved this historic inn! The food was okay. I got the pork and it was very good. The green beans were very, very sad! Probably canned but cooked to death! Our server Kennedy was delightful, though! We also stayed overnight - such a cute, historic room. Would love to come here again!

We made a few special requests and they were able to accommodate all of theme. Truly fantastic food, ambience and service!

Great historic place, but the environment is not quiet. It's relaxed, nothing too fancy, good food. Service was good as well.

It was pretty good fr,i git the hot melt and date got the chicken ,both looked good but tasted even better,it’s as quiet as a library so if you guys are laughing just know everyone gonna be staring🤦🏼‍♂️🤣

Very mediocre food. No bread served and nothing comes with your meal. Too much money for what you get

The history and friendly service just screams Kentucky. Should be on everyone’s checklist of things to see and do in the state. If your are on the bourbon trail, this is the lunch spot.

Austyn was terrible. Our food took forever to be served even after waiting an inordinate amount of time to even be greeted. We made the mistake of attempting to order dessert. However, after 20 minutes our dessert wasn’t plated. On top of all that, our bills were messed up and weren’t charged correctly. Brad (the manager) had no clue how to correct the issue. Would not recommend. Also, there was a short curly hair in my shepherd’s pie. P.S., who has red hair?
