Taline is an absolute treasure, offering Armenian cuisine that is both authentic and refreshingly innovative. As an Armenian, I appreciate how the dishes stay true to tradition while incorporating unique twists that make every bite exciting. From the beautifully crafted appetizers to the rich, flavorful mains and indulgent desserts, each dish is a testament to exceptional culinary artistry. The Armenian wine selection is thoughtfully curated, pairing perfectly with the meal. The service is warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall experience. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance—elegant yet inviting, refined yet relaxed. For the quality of food, service, and atmosphere, Taline offers incredible value. Venue 4.5/5 Cosy restaurant is tucked away on Yonge Street in the Rosedale Summerhill neighbourhood. Inside feels very homey, making it a great spot for catching up with friends or a date. Parking is a bit challenging as you’re very limited for street parking options in the nearest parking lot is a few hundred metres down the street. Service 5/5 When we entered, we were greeted by the host along with two other servers for the menus and for drinks. They were very attentive and offered their recommendations as well for the food pairings. We were never thirsty, as they always topped up our water (they offer still and sparkling). Between courses the dishes and utensils were replaced, and the table was cleaned too. Having fresh plates and cutlery for each course helped ensure that we can enjoy the flavours of each dish. Food 5/5 Amazing flavours, every dish was presented aesthetically with the ingredients and sauces of the dish presented as well by the server. The portions are on the smaller end, but the quality and flavours make up for it. We had the babaghanoush to start, along with the mante. Our entrees were their signature lamb, along with the veal and bone marrow. We also had a side of potatoes recommended by waitress to pair with the meats. They had a little spice to them but not too extreme.

The Yalla menu was very disappointing. The Entrées were fish and inedible cabbage. We asked for another dish but they didn't replace it. We got a single dessert for a couple. Very disappointing value for our money.

Everything from the food to the service experience, the ambiance and the quality of ingredients was absolutely outstanding. We loved the fattoush, the kaghamp braised cabbage, the farouj hen and the fresh apple twist on the traditional kunefe was absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to be back!

As always Taline suprises with new recipes.... tasteful and delicious Can't go wrong with the lamb chops. ...... yummmmm and the branzino was done with a delicious delicate topping.... Never disappointed at Taline! noreen

Went to Taline for my partner's birthday. I picked the 4 courses dinner experience and WOW! The dishes kept on coming and they kept being upstaged one after the other. The atmosphere was nice too, laid back, dim lights and the staff was AMAZING! We never went thirsty with water and our wine glasses were always topped off before our next course. Also we liked the way they explained the dishes and made sure to guide us so we can have the best tasting experience. The food was just out of this world. We will definitely come back again!
