The first trail-blazing Taller de Tapas, opened in 2003, is set on a beautiful square in the shadow of the Eglesia del Pi and a short stroll from the world famous Boqueria food market. Take a break from sightseeing to sit in the entertaining square and watch the world stroll by while fuelling up on rocket and local goat´s cheese salad, some delicious Patatas Bravas or steamed Mediterranean mussels. Or, take a table inside to watch your order being cooked from fresh in the bustling open kitchen. Converting the centuries old building into something so contemporary, yet respectful of tradition was a labour of love. So is the food that Sant Josep Oriol serves.
