TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge offers a distinctive culinary experience in the most dramatic setting Mohegan Sun has to offer. Guests can choose from a selection of Asian-inspired specialties, focusing on Chinese, Japanese and Thai techniques and ingredients; including signature dishes like the Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Lobster Wontons, Peking Duck, Crispy Snapper in “Sand,” and Tuna Sashimi Pringle. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge’s beverage program pairs perfectly with approachable craft cocktails and extensive sake offerings. The new restaurant at Mohegan Sun is located off the Sky Tower Hotel Lobby and features several notable elements that Guests have come to expect from the iconic brand, including a 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring the main dining room.

    Our service was knowledgeable and attentive however the martinis were served almost room temperature as well as the food. The food wasn’t ice cold but nothing on the table was hot. For the price point, we felt it was meh.

    The menu was diverse and well thought out, there were choices to meet everyone's dietary needs. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing!

    I’d recommend Tao if you enjoy moderately upscale Asian cuisine and are looking for a lively dining experience. It was quite loud during our visit (Friday night at peak dinner hours), so keep that in mind if anyone in your party is sensitive to noise levels. The entrees were enjoyable - we tried the filet and the pork belly fried rice. The highlight of our meal was definitely the sushi we ordered as an appetizer. Service was great, we had a couple food allergies in our party and the staff were very attentive for our needs.

    My salmon came to me lukewarm at best. My husband's food was piping hot. The appetizers, desserts, drinks, ambience and service were all quite good. Just was expecting at least a warm meal for the amount we spent.

    Our first time having dinner at Tao at Mohegan Sun. It was nothing short of amazing from start to finish! Tao is truly an experience. From the ambiance, to the staff, and of course the food itself. I rarely review a restaurant at 5 stars, but Tao has certainly earned that rating. FKP

    Not our first time and definitely not our last at Tao. Best experience we’ve had so far. Waitress was top shelf all around. We had 1 in our party with some unique allergies. Instead of telling her she couldn’t eat anything she went above and beyond to make sure she could try almost everything. Food was best yet. All meals were cooked to perfection and couldn’t of tasted better. Well done by all. Top shelf experience.
