Just me and my gf. We were seated in the worst possible table next to a 15 top and a family. My gf was closer to the family than me. People walking past us constantly. I feel like if you look like you aren’t spending $1000 they aren’t going to treat you very well. Or if you look like Not-a-lawyer. I tipped very well. The food didn’t take long. Food was very good. OpenTable has no idea what the food costs. An app is $40. The typical meals are $60-$80. There is a steak for $300 and a bottle of wine for $14,000. Don’t expect to spend less than $300 for a VERY modest meal for 2. Ive been discriminated against for being poor my entire life but Im not. I make good money. We showed up in suit and tie and her in a dress. I even tipped 30%. This was kinda weird. I don’t think id go back. I feel like they would tell me to try CrackerBarrel if i asked for a better table.

Went for Girlfriends Birthday, Dropped off flowers before dinner and staff was amazing, They kept flowers refrigerated and had them on our table when we arrived. Filet Mignon was perfect. They brought her dessert with a candle after dinner without me asking. Great experience!!!

First of all, I did not like paying $28 for a so-so Chardonnay second of all the barmaid was either inept or overworked. I’m not sure I sat at the bar and when I went to order, she highly recommended the lobster risotto just raved about it so I said OK. It was average at best hardly any lobster. I also asked for bread service. She brought it after I had eaten my meal well I was 90% done then I ask about chocolate desserts and she said the mousse is to die for I said well what else do you have and she said profiteroles so I said excellent do the profiteroles you guessed it she brought me the mousse I don’t like mousse. It was easily 15 minutes until she brought me the profiterole so not really impressed.

I am so sorry that you didn't enjoy the risotto or either of the glasses of wine. I shared this feedback with our head chef as we want to make sure that each guest does receive a good amount of lobster in their risotto. Please always know that if you are not satisfied with your food you can communicate that with your server. They would be more than happy to find you something else to enjoy. As for the service, I have our general manager looking into this further & connecting with the bar tender to make sure she feels supported in her role to serve our guests. Again, thank you for leaving us a review. It is when our guests do this that we are able to learn & grow.

Tarbells is a classic to the area. It’s always been a favorite and we love going back when we are in town. The food and service never disappoint!

We had a great experience at Tarbell’s! We have been there before and it doesn’t disappoint! I had the peppercorn NY which was excellent. It was served with fresh spinach sautéd in garlic & the most incredible thin French fries I have ever had! My husband had the fish special which was a delicious sea bass. Not sure what was in the sauce but it was outstanding, so tasty and a beautiful presentation! Not a cheap meal but an incredible meal with Kathryn as our server! Definitely give it a try!

This was our first time going to Tarbell's and we didn't know what to expect, especially since we were celebrating our anniversary. Parking is a bit of a premium, especially on a busy night. They do have a valet service, which does take up about ⅓ of the parking spots. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the door and quickly seated after confirming our reservation. The servers were very quick to bring us water and bread with a pesto/olive oil dip. It was fantastic. Our head server was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive, as was the while serving staff, and even offered us a complimentary appetizer while we waited for our main course. We ordered the 40oz porterhouse for 2 and is was cooked to perfection. The sauces offered each took the steak to a different level. We had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Tarbell's and would highly recommend going. The only downside of the place was that we felt it was a little loud inside the restaurant. It is a pretty small area and voices carry very easily. With the semi open kitchen, servers and staff communicating and all the other patrons earing and having a good time, it did feel like you needed to elevate your voice level a little more than usual and at the point your neighbors at the table next to you will overhear your conversation. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Tarbell's and would certainly return amd recommend to friends.

Tarbell's doesn't disappoint; you can count on consistent high quality food and service. It was my birthday and they took special care to make it special and sent out a beautiful cheesecake. Just the right amount of attentive. My husband loved the chilean sea bass special. My son loved the filet and my daughter and I were thrilled with the giant meatball. Thanks!! Always recommend!
