   The ambiance is really what you want from a historic fishing lodge! The service was really nice and sporty comebacks from my humorous comments. The food was perfectly prepared, and the menu offered a variety of great dishes, and be sure to listen to the specials.

   This was our first visit to Tarpon Lodge Restaurant. I appreciate that this historic landmark has been so well-preserved and maintained and that it has survived the last few hurricanes. The open-air dining room was lovely. Stacy, our waitress, was very busy but attentive. I enjoyed the Tarpon Chop Entree Salad with Steak Tips. The "chop" on the cucumbers was a bit large for my liking, but overall, the salad was tasty. My husband enjoyed the crab paparadelle dish. Overall, we thought the meal was a tad overpriced for the content. This is definitely a destination restaurant (unless you are staying at the Lodge). It is an hour's drive from Ft Myers, FYI. We were lucky to catch a beautiful sunset.

   My family and I had an excellent time celebrating our elopement! We enjoyed amazing food and took incredible photos in their outdoor area. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made our day special.

   "Old Florida" at it's best. Very quaint, lovely restaurant. Food and service were excelllent.

   I was treating my cousins from Connecticut to thank them for many kindnesses to me. The meal was perfect and the service equally so. Although there were many empty tables, we were not seated until 8:00 pm which was the only time I could get a reservation. I felt like we were holding the staff up from closing when we left. But everything else couldn't have been better.

   Food was outstanding. Perfect portion. Natural flavors. Fresh. Service was personable, friendly, no rush, accommodating. Atmosphere truly casual with class. We will return often.

    Beautiful setting. Sunset awesome. Wait staff excellent. I know the seafood is great. I had the Duck and it was cooked perfectly and it was great. Also had the sea scallops Yummy! Don't leave without the Key Lime Pie! Thank you all for a wonderful dinner.
