We believe wine is better with food & food is better with wine. A perfect pairing is an experience everyone should enjoy..often. Our unique approach to food and wine means we are "wine first". We first curate the wine list which includes 65+ wines by the glass and then design a food menu that specifically complements the wine. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera who spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC. He then took his talents to Florida's Knife and Spoon, where he helped garner a coveted Michelin star. Chef Julian is passionate about sourcing hyperlocal ingredients & has a strong focus on sustainability. Our service team includes ten sommeliers and is proud to offer guests more than 700 wines by the bottle. We are a casually elegant wine bistro open Tues-Sat 5PM to 10PM. The Champagne Bar is open daily noon-10PM. Children are welcome on the patio. The Wine Bistro and Champagne Bar seats adults only. Live Music Nightly.

The Tasting House rear entrance is right next to City Parking Lot #1, off Saratoga-Los Gatos Rd. Park anywhere in the lot and walk north towards Saratoga-Los Gatos Rd. The Tasting House is on your left adjacent to the northwest corner of the lot.
Public transit
The Tasting House is right across Saratoga-Los Gatos road from the Los Gatos & University Bus Stop. Just walk down to University, cross the street, and head back up towards City Parking Lot 1. Walk into the parking lot and enter the Tasting House through our back entrance.

Chef Julian is committed to hyper-local ingredients and sustainability. He works with 27 Bay Area farmers and purveyors to provide guests with a well-crafted tasting menu that provides a balance of flavors, tastes, and textures throughout the meal. This eight course tasting menu is served evenings in the Tasting House's casually elegant dining room where live jazz is performed nightly. There is an optional wine pairing available for $80 which has been curated by our team of Sommeliers. Some dietary restrictions can be accommodated with 48 hours notice. Please note requests in your reservation and a member of the Tasting House team will be in contact with you. Full table participation required.

We attended the Heitz Cellars winemaker blending session. The session was so much fun and interesting. The steak dinner following the event was perfectly prepared. The mushrooms were amazing. The service exceptional! Another great night at the Tasting House.

My husband and I enjoyed the chef's tasting menu on a Saturday evening. Every course was imaginative and delicious. The presentation was incredible. We also had the wine pairing and were impressed with how well each wine improved each dish and vice versa. The staff was attentive and friendly. It was an exceptional experience for us. We will definitely go back!

We went to the Tasting House to try a new menu items we heard about, the Crab Risotto. It was beautiful and delicious! Highly recommend! They paired it with Champagne and it was perfect! I also had the classic beef carpaccio. It was perfectly prepared and served with a Brunello. My husband had the fogline chicken which he loved! We had such a nice time at dinner, the service was outstanding and the staff so welcoming that we moved to the bar, enjoyed the live music and ordered a bottle of wine! What a great night.

Amazing experience and food. Music was delightful and the servers were exceptional. Wonderful to see Curtis who came to welcome us back and our server Riley was wonderful.

What a beautiful date night. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere of low lighting with live music was romantic with a lively buzz. The food was remarkable. We both had the pumpkin salad with a glass of champagne. For our main course we had the most delicious beef wellington paired with a napa valley Cabernet. Chocolate Mousse with marcona almonds for dessert. This is our favorite restaurant!

We had a superb experience. The food was terrific but it was overshadowed by the service. The ability to wine pair each item on the menu and the expertise and enthusiasm of the staff very much elevated the meal for us. A distinctive and unique restaurant; we will be back.

We had an outstanding experience at Tasting House. We opted for their tasting menu. Every course was plated beautifully and the ingredients in each dish complemented and enhanced the other elements in the dish both flavor- and texture-wise. The wine pairing was both interesting (we were unfamiliar with some of the varietals) and delicious. The pairing of the wine with the food was brilliant. Some of our favorite dishes were miso sand with crunchy black rice, avocado puree, and papadums, Scandinavian-inspired mackerel Smørrebrød, and the Basque cheesecake that I'll be dreaming about for a long time. Not only was the chef able to accommodate our dietary restrictions, he did it in a way that maintained the integrating of the dish. Thank you to the Tasting House team for a wonderful evening.

Never disappoints! We always have a great time here. Great food and drink - and the ambiance is cozy and comfortable while still being considered special occasion. And there are always people to talk to at the bar - fellow food and wine lovers. The TH team is professional and knowledgable. Love it!
