   Every thing was perfect!! The drinks and the food were excellent. We had the CEVICHE trio and 4 of us split the Wagyu Chuleton and added a side of elote. The steak melted in your mouth. It was a perfect amount of food. Since this was a birthday celebration we ordered the flaming skull. It was great too. Gabby our waitress even closed the roof so we could see the flames. Wonderful atmosphere.

   Food was delicious and very interesting menu, service was great, Edgar and his trainee were very pleasant and accommodating. The place is mystical, cozy. What we did not like was our table location. If so, why 3 stars i stead of 5? The place was empty when we got there and pretty much empty for almost 1 1/2 hours of the 2 hours we were there. We were placed by the service table where they keep waters and glasses. We were having conversations that were involuntarily interrupted by those doing their job and not having an option to do it in any other way. Maybe, next time, if place is not busy avoid assigning that table…

   Had a nice dinner date here Friday night. Service was great, from security guard at the door, to receptionist and ultimately our waiter. Our waiter checked in on us very often, he was so friendly and welcoming, wish I remembered his name to give him a shoutout. Lights were dim, very romantic, music noise was perfect level to where you can still hear the person next to you, cute decor! I had one of their cocktails, the guava one- very delicious. We had a few things on the menu, the hamachi app was wayyy overpriced for 4 pieces of sashimi. I’ve paid less than that for more pieces at great sushi spots. The grilled octopus was ok, and the pollo a la braza I think was the name, was pretty good. In my opinion, food was overpriced, def paying for the ambience. Glad I went, but probably won’t be going back.

   Overall experience was great only thing was there is a $30 cake fee if you bring your own cake. I thought was absurd that nobody said anything at the beginning nor when we asked if it was okay to bring a cake in but other than that place is very nice, very good ambience.

   Biggest scam for a while! Had our 5th anniversary here and wanted to try something special. Started with a ceasar salad, that was a cut in half head of lettuce with a couple of crutons. For the main dish the waiter recommended the wagyua steak, which was advertized as 32oz and ”plenty for two persons”. It was not 32oz, since over half of the stake was just a big bone you can not eat. The stake was totally burned from the outside, but somehow still fully raw from the inside. Not medium like we ordered, just raw. Tasted like coal and the portion did NOT serve two people. At this point we gave up and did not want to spend any more money to this restaurant, so went to the waffle house for dessert. The bill for a burnt, small stake and a salad you had to make yourself was over $200. Do NOT recommend this place, don’t waste your money or ruin your special occasion, like we did.

    The service was amazing!! The hostess was very nice. Our waitress was amazing definitely loved the staff. But the food does not match the ambiance. We ordered chips and guacamole the guacamole was good they served us a bag of chips for three people. I ordered brisket tacos. They didn’t taste like brisket to me and it was a rather small serving I was still hungry after. My friends got the fajitas and said the taste was good but were also left hungry. The drinks were great!! And the night life is fun I would return for drinks and night life but most likely grab a bite before I go to te deso.
