A steakhouse that respects Greek tradition and international flavor. Beside the premium meats we offer we also concentrate on the wine which are more than 200 labels from all over the world but emphasized on Greek labels.

Telemachos Athens is located in the heart of the capital city, in a passage of one of the most historical buildings in town.

The staff were friendly and helpful to non-Greek speakers. Food was fantastic! They went out of their way to accommodate an allergy. I would eat here regularly if I were local! Telemachos was a highlight of our trip.

Service was poor. We arrived at 9:35, we managed to order at 10:00 and the food was served at 11:10, when we were not hungry anymore. Many of the dishes we wanted to order were not available, as we were informed after placing our order. We ordered our T-bone medium and it was served rare, and the rib eye came medium well although we ordered it medium rare (obviously it was first cut and then cooked to save some time!) The quantities listed in the menu and charged had nothing to do with the quantities served… When we complained for the delay, they offered us something to eat which we had not ordered. When we complained about the cooking, the owner turned to the chef, instead of apologizing himself. He proposed to replace the overcooked meat, but we refused- probably we should have to wait for another hour to have proper dinner. He offered us dessert, instead of not charging the poor dishes! Simple things they should have done to show minimum respect to their customers. It’s a shame for such a renowned and expensive restaurant… I regret I chose to celebrate my birthday there…

We visited Telemachos on Saturday night. The hospitality of that team is amazing. Mr George visited our table to check if everything was okay . The food was amazing the steak the starters the unforgettable “Galaktomporeko with Kataifi “ highly recommend place to visit in athens

There was a waitress that we asked to order that wouldn’t come serve us. I guess it was probably because we are from Israel. We waited about 20 minutes to order and only after we called the hostess she called another waiter. Its a shame this respected restaurant hired such people.

The prime rib steak was good but expensive other then that everything was very bad taste and the mash potatoes was from powder

The Hanger steak was cooked to perfection at medium rare. The mashed potatoes with carrots were like a liquid soup. The red merlot wine was excellent. Overall, I would recommend eating here if you want a great piece of beef.

AVOID! I booked this place for a surprise dinner for my fiance. Got the confirmation from the place. We were coming from further away to restaurant and only when we got there noticed they weren’t even open that day! How rude is to confirm a booking for a day when they are not open? Terrible customer service. We were very disappointed!
