Located on the third floor of Eataly Boston, Terra is a unique restaurant inspired by earth and fire. The dining room centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where the Terra culinary team cooks raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine.

大変言いにくいのですが、カジキマグロの付け合わせの黄ピーマンに野菜シールが張り付いたままでした。それを最初に見てしまったので、申し訳ありませんが、その後の食事は台無しでした。ボストンの某大学の女教授と一緒でしたから、事を荒立てたくなかったので、あわててそのシールを裏返して隠しました。一応念のためにそのシール付きのピーマンの写真は撮りましたが、ここにわざわざ掲載する必要はないと思います。実際にそれを除けば食事やカクテルは美味しかったのですが、洗っていないだろうピーマンを想像してしまい気持ち悪かったです。

Place is our go to. They really need to upgrade the bathrooms AND make sure paper towels and toilet paper is always replaced regularly! This is true for both Terra and the bathrooms on level below, those are disgusting really.

The food quality and preparation were excellent! Everything we had was fresh, the bread and mushroom spedini were delicious and salad greens were amazing! The grilled items (Verdura veggies for two and grilled branzino) were perfectly cooked - just a light char, nothing was burnt as had occurred in a past visit. The flavors of the grilled food were delectable without the accompanying sauces which were tasty when used on the bread. We visited during Restaurant week and Terra was packed and very loud. We ordered ala carte and paid top dollar, but it was well worth it.

The truffle carbonara at brunch was one of the best pastas I have ever had in my life, even including trips to Italy. Sadly, the truffle flavor was very weak, I actually couldn't taste it at all, which was a little disappointing. But everything else about the dish was so tasty it didn't even matter.

Fantastic, as always! We went for something a little different - the crab cakes and the uovo Benedictine, and both were great, but the real stars were the cocktails. Absolutely stellar espresso martini and “direct flight to Rome” a perfectly balanced espresso & amaro cocktail that I fell in love with. We’ll certainly be back (again and again!)

My friend and I stopped by before attending the BSO. The service was great—thank you, Christian! We ordered the polenta, which was good, and the Tagliatelle al Ragù di Terra, which was also enjoyable. For dessert, we had the pera cotta, which was excellent, light, and satisfying.
