The warmth of the Hacienda Teya Restaurant in the heart of the city of Mérida, Santa Lucía. We are a Yucatecan food restaurant, with a legacy of more than 25 years, we have 2 magical outdoor terraces for you to spend a wonderful stay, surrounded by an atmosphere between trees and nature that gives us that characteristic atmosphere of our beloved Hacienda Teya.     Excelente servicio, el lugar está muy bonito, la decoración de excelente gusto y la comida de gran calidad, particularmente me pedí las enchiladas divorciadas de lechón y estuvieron deliciosas!

    Setting very nice and food OK but terrible service. Long delays before offering water or drinks. Main issue was with the bill: charged for a bottle of wine when we only had one glass. Possibly a simple error but no apology then kept waiting for 15 minutes for the revised bill. Waiter seemed very annoyed that I had picked this up. Concerning that a neighbouring table also spent a long time clearing up errors in the bill. Probably better options in the area.

    Excelente ambiente!! La comida excepcional!!! El mesero que nos atendió al menos, MUY MUY AMABLE!!! Quedé fascinada!!!! Me encantó todoooo el lugar, la comida, los cócteles... Muy muy rico 100% recomendado!!

    What a gorgeous space, wow. My first night in Merida I walked by and said to my friend, “we must try this place!” We stopped in the next day, we were greeted by a very rude hostess saying they had a kitchen issue. As someone who works in the industry, I felt so bad. Later in that same evening they were open so we tried again. They said they were closed, 2 hours prior than their scheduled time. Ok fine. The next day I made a reservation and punctually arrived. The same hostess met us with a very cold and dismissive tone. After sitting down for 10 mins, in an almost empty restaurant we were finally greeted. We were told that they were out of all of there signature items on the menu, but nothing else. Both of us wanted things that they weren’t offering. We decided to stay for a drink. What a mistake. It took 45 mins just to get a drink, ask for the check 3 times and leave. My cocktail was delicious, but I have never tried to hard to enjoy a space and be treated to poorly in the process. This is not hospitality. Would not recommend to anyone. After the long wait to get out of there, we ended up having to order to go burgers down the street to take back to the hotel. Not the dining experience we were looking for on our only Saturday evening in this adorable city.

    Extreme delay in service. Waited 1/2 hr for drink then 45 min just yo get bill. Good was meh. Bathroom was super dirty.

    Desde la recepción el personal fue poco amable. Nos hicieron esperar y cuando entramos el aforo era pequeño. No había razón para hacer esperar a los clientes. El servicio fue lento y desganado. La comida fue ordinaria y preséncialos 2 mesas quejándose amargamente del lugar y el servicio. No lo recomiendo

    Demasiada fama para el pésimo servicio. Pedimos entradas (sopas) y plato principal (cochinita, poc-chuc para compartir al centro) que llevaron al mismo tiempo. Las sopas calientes. Pero el plato fuerte tibio, pedí que lo regresaran mientras terminábamos las sopas (el mesero de mala cara), se lo llevaron y lo volvieron a traer (se tardaron) helado!!! Se lo volvieron a llevar y tardaron más en volverlo a traer caliente. Mi percepción es que dan solo atención a mesas grandes y extranjeros… qué pena. Jamás regresaré, ni lo recomiendo. Hay mejores opciones, con mejor sabor, precio y servicio.
