The Amalfi Llama reimagines the culinary landscape by seamlessly merging the allure of a rustic live-fire steakhouse with the flavors of Italian cuisine, a culinary haven where genuine cooking, down-to-earth cuisine and stylish flair intertwine. Guests embark on a journey from Southern Patagonia to the Mediterranean coast of Italy as they indulge in a multisensory experience that transcends boundaries – from the soothing cream decor to the intimate ambiance of crackling embers accompanied by the melodies of vintage Italian vinyls. Embracing the essence of a modern farmhouse, The Amalfi Llama revolves around an open parrilla grill and wood-burning oven, harnessing fire, smoke, coals and embers to craft dishes. We had a table for three inside ordered appetizers as follows. 1. Focaccia- good 2. Short Rib Empanadas with chimichuri - good however they weren’t hot. 3. Calamari - good spicy sauce not crispy Main Entree 1. Branzino - supposed to be wood fired just cooked normally could have been a different fish. 2. Shared Margherita Pizza with prosciutto and arugula thin crust, soggy not hot out of the oven. 3. Shared Caesar Salad, dressing blasé Desserts Shared 1. Chocolate flourless cake too much gel latin 2. Pistachio Gelato didn’t taste nor look like it One bottle of Argentinian Wine $70.00 very good A restaurant that has Messi as part owner has a very limited Argentinian selection which is very unfortunate. Total bill was $400.00 including 20% which was already on the bill. The Aventura Esplanade has a number of restaurants which we’ll try, not going back to this one

Decor and ambiance is very nice! We were at the bar while waiting for our friends to arrive and that was nice as well. Our server was good too. However, I asked my steak to be butterflied and cooked medium well however it was more than well done and burned on about 20%.. being in a group of 9, I did not make an issue out of it but the salmon that my friend ordered came when the rest of us were finishing our main course, her husband was about to cancel the order when it finally arrived. Another item was being overly charged for the bread, I mean it’s just bread!
