The Amalfi Llama reimagines the culinary landscape by seamlessly merging the allure of a rustic live-fire steakhouse with the flavors of Italian cuisine, a culinary haven where genuine cooking, down-to-earth cuisine and stylish flair intertwine. Guests embark on a journey from Southern Patagonia to the Mediterranean coast of Italy as they indulge in a multisensory experience that transcends boundaries – from the soothing cream decor to the intimate ambiance of crackling embers accompanied by the melodies of vintage Italian vinyls. Embracing the essence of a modern farmhouse, The Amalfi Llama revolves around an open parrilla grill and wood-burning oven, harnessing fire, smoke, coals and embers to craft dishes. The restaurant’s ethos also meets design with Latin American and Mediterranean influences, resulting in an inviting environment adorned with light woods, natural light and subtly elegant finishes, defying traditional steakhouse and Italian restaurant conventions.

Quite simply, food is delicious. Best Crab cake I’ve ever had (off the grills!) and the lobster arrabiata is loaded with lobster. Delicious!

One of our party is gluten free but was served gluten pasta and became very sick.

Food was so good! Got a ribeye, oysters, shrimp scampi, puree potatoes and brocolini. The brocolini was the only thing I wouldn’t order again. They were short staffed on servers, but our server tried her best to make sure we were accommodated. Restaurant is huge, but still intimate. Nice place for a date night to treat ourselves every once in a while.

The place itself was very nice and our server was very sweet, but the food took over an hour to come out and we were notified after our meal that the kitchen was behind all night. The food was pretty good just not hot when we received it. The server did give us a dessert as a thank you for patience which was nice.

Party of 6, all of the food was delicious, the service was slower than on previous occasions, maybe they were recovering from a busy Valentine’s weekend. Happy this gem is a 5-minute drive from home.
