   We booked the table at this restaurant 4 weeks ago we decided on what we wanted to order prior to arriving. So to find out on the day that it would be a limited menu because it was closing early for quiz night so never got the steak I was looking forward to. The food we did have was very good. Worth remembering when booking that the first Sunday of every month is quiz night so it will be the same reduced menu. I think this should be made clear on the booking site as it’s a regular thing.

   Great food & service. With friendly staff & a good tempo set by the boss. Only criticism is they were too efficient, so we were in & out faster than expected. Having said that it was our first & wont be our last visit

   We moved to the area about 12 months ago and found the Baiting House. Service and food is always consistent and excellent. It is now our go to place for nice food good atmosphere and very relaxing with great staff

   What a lovely weekend away we have had. From start to finish, the staff have been fantastic. Friendly, witty, welcoming and attentive. Lovely atmosphere, not stuffy or pretentious, and very relaxing. Accommodation has been done to a very good standard, with comfortable rooms and high quality fittings and fixtures. The food….. wow! Really tasty and varied menu. Absolutely no complaints at all. Service and quality top notch. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Overall, highly recommended venue.
