Fresh Rocky Mountain Cuisine at its Finest!

Welcome to the The Bav and The Tav at Bavarian Inn; a world of taste sensations that are sure to please every palate. Our beautiful and cozy restaurant is nestled in the quaint hamlet of Bragg Creek, Alberta in the foothills of the spectacular Rocky Mountains. The Bav continues to be dining at its best and The Tav is the same; a bit more casual - biking, hiking - all good as long as you're hungry!

We are proud to say The Bavarian Inn Restaurant has been serving guests for over 40 years and will continue!

Restaurant reservation "no show" fees are critical to reducing the number of "no-shows" and their impact on our business. Please note that we have a "no-show" fee policy in place, if you fail to show up for your booking without contacting the restaurant to cancel or reschedule, the fee is $50. For parties of 12 guests or more, please note that if any of your guests fail to arrive and do not cancel, the fee is $50/person.

Just did the wine pairing dinner and it was fabulous, wine selections were great and the staff were top notch! Chef’s did a fabulous job. What a great evening!

It doesn’t matter what you choose to eat on the menu, you will not be disappointed. Servers are all friendly. A lovely place.

Nadia was a wonderful server/hostess! Friendly, interactive conversation, & efficient. Food & drink service was very timely, (we were a 6pm seating for 3) maybe 16 others there at the time, Wednesday night. Food was well prepared & presented. We enjoyed & shared the bread tray, as well as (our favourite for over 30 years!) Bavarian salad! for a small starter between us. Liked the addition of a small bit of potato salad to the previous version Bav salad. Entrees: Veal Cordon Blue, Wiener Schnitzel, Bison Rouladen were all delicious. We ordered the 'full size' orders; brought a bit home with us. Thank you.

From the moment we walked in the service was amazing. Food was really good. Our waitress was very friendly and always checking in on us. Definitely will be back and would recommend. ❤️💙
