Located in the heart of Cuyahoga Falls, near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Blossom Music Center, The Blue Door Cafe now also offers an elevated but casual dinner service. Showcasing an eighteen foot poured concrete bar, more spacious and comfortable seating and many other nuanced improvements, The Blue Door offers a seasonal and rotating menu featuring charred burgers, house made pastas, hand formed dumplings, air shipped seafoods, and wagyu steaks. The Blue Door proudly sources ingredients from local farms as well as nationally recognized purveyors such as Portland Maine's Browne Trading Company and Ohio's own The Chef's Garden! Dishes with a European and global flair are carefully created and prepared using techniques that draw upon and showcase the skills of our culinary team. The dinner food was good, but extremely overpriced. For example, we ordered a Brie appetizer and got two pieces of bread and three small rounds of (what appeared to be butter) for $15. We enjoyed the food and service, but wouldn’t go back because of the prices.

I have been a Blue Door patron for years and this is the first time the service was sub par! They were busy however I been there when they have been busy on other occasions and this night was no exception with the exception of forgetting to refill the water glass and forgetting to ask if I wanted another drink . My sever was pleasant but busy.

Hello Elizabeth. I apologize for your substandard experience. Unfortunately, we were understaffed for the amount of customers at our restaurant last evening. We have several of our staff with the flu and could not find anyone to cover the shift.

Outstanding food and service! We had burrata and house baked sourdough with roasted vegetables Then Coq au Vin Gulyash Chocolate soufflé All were delicious

Best dinner all month, every month. The single best restaurant in northeast Ohio and it’s not even close.

Everything was just average. Expected more from Blue Door. This was our first visit for dinner, have been there many times for breakfast and brunch. The French Onion Soup had no broth. Excellent taste, but no broth. I should have sent it back to have them remake it. Fish and Chips was good. Fish excellent, chips a bit mis-advertised on menu I thought. They were just fries. My girlfriend had the Smashburger and it was excellent. Server and service was so-so. Ambiance was so-so, much crowd-noise, no background music or anything. Just average overall, not what we expected from Blue Door.

I had the jagerschnitzel dinner and it was delicious with very generous portions. Highly recommend the hit mocha. Smash burger was ordered by other person in my party and it looked very good.
