   My husband and I have eaten tapas in many places and we believe that finding a good tapas bar/restaurant is a real treasure. so we visited Compamigos for the first time. Unfortunately it didn't impress us so we were a bit disappointed. We received an email stating that there was 20% off Monday to Thursday but we were billed for the full amount, we didn't quibble because we just wanted a nice evening without hassle or haggling. Had the food have been better, we wouldn't have minded but it was not impressive. Everything was a bit dry and overcooked- we could see tapas dishes sitting under the hot lamps in the kitchen for quite a while, which was probably our food. I ordered the salt and pepper squid that seemed a very small portion and was slightly tough, the bread that came with the baked camembert was hard, the crab aranchini were dry. My husband said that his albonigas were not very hot, the patatas bravas were overcooked although his chorizo was OK. The service was fine but overall very over priced for very average food.

   I would have given top marks for everything but unfortunately two of our food choices were not available. We really enjoyed all the dishes we did have.

   Thank you for a perfect celebration breakfast for the start of my birthday. 5 stars as we couldn’t fault it Food, drink, atmosphere & service Molly was fabulous, not over the top, just enough

   We had an amazing meal here last night! The staff were just fantastic- we had our 2 children with us and they engaged with them, made them laugh and made us all feel super welcome! The food was incredible, we had the table by the window so had a lovely view which the children loved. Can’t wait to return!

   Atmosphere and service was good. Wasn’t impressed with the food to be honest. It was ok, but I was expecting so much more based on the price. Also, I found it odd to bring seven dishes out all at once. Most dishes were cold by the time we got to them.

   Excellent Sunday lunch … friendly staff .. lovely atmosphere. The food took a little longer than expected to arrive but was very good. Would definitely recommend
